Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

NEW NCERT TEXT BOOKS

 Sanjivani ,

Take a look at following news report  >  https://www.thehindu.com/education/new-ncert-class-6-social-science-textbook-shrinks-content-rolling-three-books-of-history-geography-civics-into-one/article68425859.ecePl

Pl download the digital versions from NCERT web site and then upload on Personal.ai ( in consultation with Sandeep / Kishan )

Do we need to “ remove / delete “ from Personal.ai , the OLD text books ( for the same STANDARD / SUBJECT ) which we had uploaded a few weeks ago ? – ie :  “ replace “ those OLD ones with these NEW ones ?

Is NCERT clear about WHEN will this CHANGE OVER will take place ? Our action ( of replacing ) will depend upon NCERT directive to the schools

This kind of “ replacement “ of OLD with the NEW text books, will remain an ONGOING process under gradual implementation of NEP ( New Education Policy ) being rolled out across all 15 lakh schools of India , during the next 2 years

Every time this  “ replacement “ is announced ( ie the “ EFFECTIVE DATE / YEAR “ ) for any TEXT BOOK , we have to remain alert and act accordingly so as to ensure that our DATABASE of MEMORY BLOCKS ( on Personal.ai ) truly reflects what TEXT BOOKS, are the children being TAUGHT in any given year . Any failure to do this will make  www.My-Teacher.in  , OBSOLETE !

If visiting Students get totally WRONG / IRRELEVANT / OUT of DATE , answers ( to their questions ) , then a BAD REPUTATION will spread and students will stop visiting our site

This means , we must keep our eyes and ears , open for new announcements . One way is to prepare a MASTER LIST of ALL text books ( Standard-wise ) and keep comparing this with the corresponding list on NCERT site , once in a month
