Currently, users need to enter a UPI PIN created by them for enabling transactions. The new feature of voice recognition will be available in addition to PIN option, giving users another secure way of managing the application, a senior government official told DNA Money.

This will also improve ease of using the digital payment app as it will be convenient for many to use their voice as the password.

Roof Top Solar : Better Alternative






 

“ It’s Official. All New California Homes Must Incorporate Solar “

Starting in 2020, virtually all new homes in California will be required to incorporate advanced efficiency measures and rooftop solar — in an historic development for clean energy in the state

 

The new rules apply specifically to all new residences and major home renovations on buildings under three stories, starting on January 1, 2020. In the event a building isn’t suitable for a rooftop array, the standards require homes have access to community solar or offset energy usage through additional efficiency gains, while some homes may be exempt.

Around 15,000 new homes are built each year that include solar panels, according to the CEC. When the new standards take effect, that number is expected to jump to around 100,000 new solar homes per year.

 

Now under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana , we , in India plan to construct 11 million homes by 2022

As I have repeatedly advocated in my previous blogs ( sent as emails to all Policy Makers ) , this is our opportunity to clean up our polluted environment by mandating that ALL of these 11 million homes will have Roof Top Solar power plants – along with storage batteries


This produce all the GREEN POWER that we have targeted for 2022 (  100 GW  )



Each residential building will produce / store and consume its OWN power , without having to depend upon DISCOMS


No need for metering /  transformers / substations / cables / transmission lines !


No need for DISCOM to maintain the infrastructure ! or worry about thefts ! or sign Power Purchase Agreements – and then worry about rescinding !

In addition to the Liberal Party’s own 100 million dollar program — which would subsidize about 2,500 dollars of installation costs per household — this means that South Australia may have a grid of some 90 thousand solar-powered homes within the next few years.
