Dear Hemen, 

Thanks for this message. I wonder if you have any other support system rather than just sending messages or letting us know their e mails? you know it is not difficult to find e mail addresses of such companies for writting to them if required. I believe to get positive response, it requires more than just sending a mail. I believe you may be aware of the "something more", if so you can help us. We are a small charity working in Gwalior and Chambal region and request you to join us helping to provide for disabled and orphan children in Snehalaya and or educate a village girl in the school there. I take this opportunity to introduce our ongoing work and request your support helping us take it further -

"Spread over 25 acres, Snehalaya, meaning the home with love in Hindi, an unique project, as a care home (not an Orphanage, though in general people consider it as an Orphanage as per their own thoughts) for disabled and destitute children, homeless women and the aged, where they live together as a family undergoing education and vocational training living a life with love and dignity with aims to become self sufficient. There is an integrated special need school and a main stream school (Snehalaya International School) esp. for girls from villages, a health centre on site as well a multi-sensory room, vocational training, facilities for yoga and meditation, gaushala for our own cows -- all set amid gardens, farms and sports & play areas. At present there are 63 residents living in Snehalaya undergoing education and training in the special need school there. In addition 170 children from surrounding villages including 95 drop out girls are undergoing education in our main stream school. 

We are hoping and plan to expand services in Snehalaya as a residential facility for 200 disabled and destitute children there and to educate 1000 village children including 500 drop out girls in our main stream school when completed.

We also work in surrounding villages for IRDP inclusive of hygiene, sanitation, safe drinking water, vaccination, health care, education, income generation etc. (there are two booklets published for IRDP in villages too to help and guide for these purposes). For lack of electricity in villages, we do distribute solar lights to school going children esp. girls in these villages. Dr. Sharma himself runs a help line and ICTC with video conference facilities from his home in India and U.K. for free advise and consultation related to any medical, health care and educational needs in India or abroad with support of nearly 450 experts in respective fields in India and overseas.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life including students and trainees helping us for these works either from their own place or on floor with us in Gwalior, India.
