What are " API costs " ?  Are these recurring and usage based ?  To whom
are these payable ? To Big Rock server, we pay every month, approx. Rs
1200 / .  Would this take care of those API COSTA ?

If you think I should get Divyendra to make a SPECIFIC COMMITMENT , pl
send me the wordings

Does this read like a fantasy ?

 

Of course , but today , it came a step closer to reality

 

The front page of today’s Sunday Times carried following advt which indeed smelled of mangoes !

 

( Not quite AI but may be printing ink got added with some fragrance of mangoes )

 

 

 

This reminded me of my 7 year old following blog :

With arrival of Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality, day is not far when , sitting in your sofa , you can smell / taste that pizza , from across the World

 

 

It is 2024 and you could “ smell “ that picture in news-paper

 

 

But if you stick around till 2026 ( being 91 this month , I may not ), on your favourite TV Channel , you will be able to smell all kinds of aromas in advts for

 

“ masala / shampoo / tea / perfumes etc “

 

 

In 2017 , I had not heard of Elon Musk’s Neuralink. But , in this blog, I did envisage following :

 

 

“ BRAIN WAVES “ ( EEG ) :

 

Scientists are attaching a few sensors to your head, capturing your Brain Waves , and accurately interpreting these as “ Specific Thoughts / Sentiments “ !

 

It is only a matter of time before the bulky wired headset gets replaced by a mobile or a wrist band , capable of capturing your “ BRAIN WAVES “ and ( without your explicit permission ) , transmitting any of your thoughts which it considers “ EVIL “  to a CENTRAL SERVER of the ESTABLISHMENT !

 

And it will do this SURVEILLANCE , 24*7  ! – even when you are asleep !

 

Those who managed to escape the “ 1984 “ of George Orwell , were lucky

 

Those who will be around when 2024 arrives , may not be so lucky !

RE: Animation operate from BigRock and Oracle server

Attached find draft of U / I for mobile screen of Project Eklavya

 

Bottom 25 % of the real estate is envisaged for the animation of both the faces ( Teacher and Student )

 

Kishan even considered integrating with WhatsApp ( as being done by IIT-M’s  MALAR app for Engineering students ) but found it to be very expensive – hence not considered

 

Kishan hopes to get the U / I ready for testing by 15^th June . This will give us enough time to debug and tweak before launching on 27^th June ( my 91^st birthday )

 

I hope your team will finish their job by 15^th

I’m glad that your technical team will be meeting today evening to figure out the working of the animation while doing so they should keep in mind that the entire animation has to work from our BigRock Server who’s configuration are as follows:

The animation will comprise of student facing the teacher in a classroom environment / ambience

The questions will be asked by the face of the student and the answers will be replied by the face of the teacher.

I’m told by Kishan that we’ll be consuming these APIs on my website for text to speech and animation.
