Dear Jayantbhai,
What a pleasant surprise ? For which, many thanks
For sometime now, I have been thinking of writing to you but somehow lost your mail ID ( buying a new PC )
We too , have been mostly confined to our home – except for visits to dentist / doctors and to my younger son Nirmit’s residence, 10 km away , once a month. Not left town for 4 / 5 years
During short periods, we ( myself and my wife, Bharati ), did manage to visit next door garden , with support from housemaid and driver ( I need to use a walking stick even while moving about in home )
My wife too needs a walking stick, occasionally
My pain in left leg ( due to attack of HERPES in April 2019 ) still persists. Other than that , I am ok and spend ave. 3 / 4 hours on my PC , blogging / e-mailing ( www.hemenparekh.in )
During past few years, I lost all of my School / College friends ( I prey to God for your long life ) – I have stopped going to office since 2011
Among some interesting news, my grand- daughter Aneree ( a practicing Psycho-therapist for past 5 years and living one floor down in our building ), got married on 21st April . Her husband, Elton runs a small Digital Marketing company . It was a grand affair , with some 150 relatives visiting us, spread over 3 days ( we had to book 90 rooms in a hotel )
Here is a link to a photo taken during the wedding > https://storytellerbybt.
How is your wife and son ?
How do you keep yourself busy ?
Will write more after your response
Regards,
hemendra

How are you?
Since 08/06/20 it has been Covid days. No covid for us but its effect has been a more secluded life.
Please bring me up to date with you.
Gratefully,

Jayantbhai,
Thanks for bringing to my notice re the offensive content – which I found as a link posted as “ Reader Comments “ below one of my blogs
I removed it . This went unnoticed since I rarely look up the Comments getting posted

I am very glad to get your e-mail.
Referring to your website that saved old mails from family and friends, I am impressed by the fact that mails of myself and my father are some of the oldest mails that you have saved. When I surfed through the others, I found one where someone had sent you a pornograhic page. You may want to remove that.
Let us keep in touch.
I did not know you are a poet. I will look you up on the net.

Dear Jaybhai,
My apologies for not responding earlier
We are all fine { wife Bharati / Sons Vishesh & Nirmit / Daugher-in-laws , Niyati & Pooja / grand daughter Aneree – practicing Psycho-therapist }
I completed 87 in June . Am able to walk around the house with help of a walking street . We rarely go out , - only for a short drive . Rest of the time , confined to house , I spend 4 / 5 hours daily on Net , writing blogs and sending to Policy Makers , through e mail ( www.hemenparekh.in )
A few weeks back , elder son Vishesh , got printed 3 books of my poems ( English – Hindi – Gujarati ) for private circulation among relatives / friends ( of course, all these poems are on my blogging site – including my audio recitations ) . I am now trying Hindi transliteration of Gujarati poems . Audios are also on Youtube
I have no contact with Desai or Joshi
Herpes blisters were gone within 2 months but left knee has become stiff and there is constant burning sensation in toes ( Neuralgia ) . Must live with it
I do view TV news channels / Comedy Central , for about an hour each evening and 2 hours listening to old songs ( Pankaj – Saigal – Kanan etc ), on Youtube
Regards,
Will keep in touch
