If you are not staying with your brother in Chembur , please plan on staying with us

If you need a car / driver,  during your visit , just let me know , when and where

And many thanks for your offer but as you rightly observed , with each passing day , personal needs / desires are diminishing !

On 21-23 Dec , we will be gone to our village ( Vadia ) in Saurashtra where we have built a school in the name of my parents

On 24 Dec , we plan to visit the Statue of Unity ( of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ) near Ahemedabad

At 182 meter , it is the highest statue in the world ( built by L&T , in 3 years time )

Recently L&T also got order to construct a statue of Shivaji Maharaj , some 2 km into the sea at Haji Ali , which will be 200+ meters tall

Dear HCP,

Hope you are doing well. 

With the gradual influence of creeping age, we seem to be nursing issues which we never had to worry a decade earlier. These aside, we are doing as well as we can.

We plan to visit India from the middle of December, 2018 through middle of January, 2019. 

We are scheduled to land in Chennai and stay there till 6h of January, 2019.

Major focus at this period at Chennai is to:

• enjoy the legendary 'Music Season', during which time more than 25 'Sabhas' stage classical music/ dance programs (including Lec-Dem's) from 8 AM through  10 PM every day; all the famous and upcoming Artistes participate. Daily schedule of programs at each location is published ahead of time and 'Rasikas' would be seen hopping from venue to venue. Each Association boasts a well run Cafe' catering high quality Breakfast-Dinner to the connoisseurs for a price.

• Around the beginning of 2019, we plan to embark on a 5-Day whirlwind Road trip to visit famous sites of religious/ architectural importance. One of the added highlights is visiting- FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME- my father's native village, near Thanjavur.

We plan to arrive in Mumbai on the evening of January 6th and visit Pune/ Pandharpur (Temple) from January 8 through 10. 

After this, we plan to stay in Mumbai from January 11-15 and depart for SFO  on the evening of January 15th.

During this time (January 11 to 14), we would like to visit you and have Lunch or dinner or both (😊😊) with you.

Please review your schedule and advise a convenient date and time. We can travel to a place of your place.

The main purpose is to meet you in person and enjoy your company.

What would you like us to bring for you from here? We are aware that everything is available in India and you understandably have most of the needs.

It will make us happy if you could recommend something- Anything- that we can get for you.
