Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

FW: Promoting B2B

Nitin,

Using TeamViewer , yesterday Satish showed me, " Company-selection thru Individual Check-box " feature

Looks good and Congrats !

I believe this will bring more traffic - and payments too !

Satish has promised to upload the revised pages , FIRST thing, tomorrow morning. Till then , we will hold back Promo Emails

For the NEXT feature on B2B , I request you to start development of pages, BROADCAST and PROMOTION , attached ( I was under the impression that Kailas or Sanjivani had emailed these to you earlier ) .

I am not happy with the names that I have given to the page titled " PROMOTION ". May be we call it , " TALKING HOARDING " ( and show the actual message on what looks like any actual hoarding that we see on the road ), or something that arouses the CURIOSITY of the visitors to click / read. But that re-naming can always be done later . Any suggestions ?

You would have noticed the following points :

*  Every casual visitor can see the " Broadcasted Messages " - even if he is NOT registered. ( Every pedestrian / motorist can see all the hoardings on the road )

*  But , to prevent CLICK-FRAUD , only the Registered AND logged in , Subscribers can click on the " I am Interested " button ( clicking of which , should pop up a message , telling the clicker that his following details , are being emailed to the broadcaster  to get in touch with you )

*  These broadcasts are in the nature of Google Adwords - in a very limited sense. A broadcaster pays (Rs 0.2 ) , ONLY if and when a registered subscriber clicks on " I am Interested " button

*  This opens up the possibility that , someday , B2B can have some " Tie-up / Understanding " with other B2B / B2C websites , which are willing to display our Subscribers' Broadcasts on their web sites ( provided , they too have a system of prevention of Click Fraud , in place ) . In such a case , we can pay them , Rs 0.05  for every click on those Broadcasts ( out of 20 p that we collect )

* Google Adwords Ads pop up on their own , anywhere , anytime. In our case , a Visitor will need to pro-actively visit " PROMOTION " page and then Pro-actively select Country and Company , to be able to view the Broadcast

* I presume , that Google Spider will be able to click through ALL the links , to be able to Crawl / Index each and every Broadcast

*  This feature may become even more popular than " Blast Messages ", since Subscriber does not pay until and unless , another registered Subscriber " Clicks " ( expression of interest ) and , sender immediately receives that notification with ALL contact details

*  It is even possible that , at least , some subscribers may make a one-time payment ( Rs 500 ) , but never - or rarely - " Blast " messages ! They may look up the " broadcasts " of other subscribers and , if interested , click on " I am interested " button - which would cost them nothing !

*  For each broadcast , we MUST capture the " No of clicks " on " I am Interested " button. This will tell us - and the broadcaster as well - which broadcasts are generating what level of responses. We should display this Number , somewhere on the broadcast message itself , as also next to the Company-Name in the " PROMOTION " page.

*  Do we need to send this message ( " Our Subscriber whose details are given below , has shown interest in your broadcast...XYZ...You are requested to get in touch with him directly " ), thru Netcore - and pay 6.5 p ? or can we send it directly from our server ?

If you want me to come over to your office to discuss this feature , do let me know

Important thing is to start development right away and launch it before month end
