Exciting Updates from IKIN for August 2022
|  The summer heat is setting in, so we’re finding ourselves staying indoors like so many others these days. We’re cranking up the AC and focusing our attention on the continued rollout of the IKIN ARC, which is now available for commercial use, and on building out our near-term and long-term strategies for the company.
The commercial launch of the IKIN ARC received some much-appreciated support from Fierce Electronics, which wrote an article about our desktop holographic terminal--now available for purchase. Our co-founder and CTO Taylor Scott launched his new Instagram account, which will be a fun and personal glimpse into his world. The IKIN Blog focused on Artificial Intelligence for back-to-back articles that addressed foundational AI terms and concepts in a general overview and a historical accounting of its inception and growth into one of today’s defining technologies. Lastly, our social media accounts continued to look at IKIN operations with a glimpse into how Taylor and I approach our work processes, the IKIN ARC, and a highlight reel of our experiences at ITEXPO. IKIN’s RYZ has hit some exciting major milestones in recent weeks. The team has been working hard to bring amazing concepts to life. The first RYZ Beta units are completed with upgrades discovered during Alpha testing. We've made significant improvements to battery life and durability. Our 2.0 USB-Battery cable is more robust and easier to use. The RYZ lens features increased clarity along with a brighter and deeper volumetric hologram experience. We've also added a fun light saber bar that brings a visual light experience to the RYZ. On the software side, we've made great progress preparing the RYZ app for the Google Play Store in early Q2 2023 to coincide with the launch of the RYZ. Our software designs are complete and in development, along with prototyping our "Pictures" and "Scenes" capabilities. "Pictures" will allow users to turn standard photos into 3D holographic experiences, while "Scenes" gives users the ability to create hologram video memes. Content created in the RYZ app can not only be displayed in holographic form on RYZ, but will also be sharable on popular social media platforms. The creative possibilities with RYZ are endless. Our team has had a lot of fun seeing their concepts brought to life and we're excited to see what users will do with these incredible capabilities. |
