Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

Mid Term Monster ?

All over the country, mid term exams are looming over 28 crore school children like a Monster

They are burning mid night oil , pouring over their text books and trying to figure out :

“ From this Chapter , what questions are most likely to appear in the forthcoming exam ? “

That is tough

Even tougher is to figure out :

“  If this question was to appear in exam paper , what should be the RIGHT / CORRECT answer ? “

Hey, Parents :

I know , even some of you are holding in your hands , exam papers of previous years , throwing a question at your ( trembling ? ) child and expecting her to come up with that RIGHT / CORRECT answer

And if she cannot, woe befall her !

That need not be

Just ask her to :

Ø  Access on her mobile  www.My-Teacher.in

Ø  Go to section “ Answers for Syllabus Related Questions “

Ø  Select : Standard ; Subject ; Chapter

Ø  Discover 15 / 20 , “ Most likely to Appear in Exam “ questions

Ø  Click on any

Ø  Get that RIGHT / CORRECT answer

Following table would convince you that  www.My-Teacher.in , is your child’s true MENTOR in her times of stress, when threatened by mid-term Monster

How does a kaleidoscope work?

A kaleidoscope works by using mirrors placed at an angle to create multiple reflections of colored objects inside the tube. When you look through the hole, these reflections form beautiful and ever-changing patterns due to the reflection and symmetry principles involved. It's a fascinating optical device that designers and artists often use for inspiration in creating new patterns.

Explain the correspondence of vertices in congruent triangles

In congruent triangles, the correspondence of vertices is crucial for correctly representing their similarity. For example, if triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEF, we must ensure that each vertex corresponds accurately. This means that point A corresponds to point D, B corresponds to E, and C corresponds to F.

By establishing this one-to-one correspondence between the vertices of congruent triangles, we can symbolically represent their similarity as ∆ ABC  ∆ DEF. It's important to note that under this correspondence, not all permutations are valid. For instance, writing ∆ QRP  ∆ ABC would be incorrect because it doesn't follow the correct vertex correspondence.

Therefore, when expressing the similarity of two triangles in symbolic form or discussing their congruence criteria like CPCT (corresponding parts of congruent triangles), ensuring the accurate correspondence of vertices is essential for clarity and correctness in geometry studies.
