Mitchelle,
When I was DGM- HR at L&T ( 1977-79 ) , I had prepared a similar document
Depending upon each “ Senior “ POSITION , an Organization Chart was also handed out to each candidate, which showed the “ Position “ , to who the position reports and what ( and how many ) positions report that positions AND other positions at the SAME LEVEL ( similar designation )
The “ welcoming person “ ( from my dept ) was responsible for offering tea / coffee to the waiting candidates
If the interview was going to spill over lunch hour , the welcoming person would inform the “ Supervisory “ canteen and send along a person along with the waiting candidates
Waiting candidates were also given latest ANNUAL REPORT of L&T . For senior positions in FINANCE , this ( report ) was used to check a candidate’s knowledge ( generally about FINANCIAL RATIOS and about L&T ratios )
For some middle level positions , candidates were handed papers “ May we know You “ ( such as listed at following links ) and asked to fill in while waiting
If the position was senior , the interviews were spaced apart so that no two candidates would get to see / know, who else are also being interviewed ( especially , when two candidates from SAME company were attending same interview
In such a case , in order to save embarrassment , there was a separate EXIT DOOR ( from the Interview Cabin ) , for the outgoing candidate, so that the waiting candidate could not see him
There were a few other things
