We finally launched it 3 days ago

 

My-Teacher enables a student to “ Generate and Take “ , Mock Tests for NEET – JEE – CET , in 9 languages

 

It is totally FREE and does not even need registration

 

I urge you to check out and if found suitable , then SHARE it among the students of the various schools with which you are associated

The center was already functioning under the leadership of a very committed lady - Madhuben Amabaliya in a very small office near a slum area. She has been doing great work for many years and equips mostly female students with "job ready skills". This includes embroidery, tailoring, beauty parlor, and job oriented computer courses (like Tally accounting). Last year they trained 150+ students. They needed funding for equipment and for better premises, and I have also agreed to fund the running expenses shortfall for better teaching staff. The larger new center is in a municipal shopping complex adjacent to an "awas yojana" of 250 sq ft apartments under the pradhan mantri scheme.

 

The classes are very well run, and the job placements are almost 100%. A great achievement for a center being run on a shoestring budget, with floor seating, and shortage of space. Madhuben arranges everything well with help from my father's Rotary club. I will participate in the management or running as and if needed - they are very capable and dedicated. However, I will remain available to them.

 

I believe in hands on charity work, and every project of mine I ensure that the results are measured!

In another project in 18 Municipal Schools, we are teaching English and Math to 7,000 plus students using Mindspark software.

 

We have setup the classroom with 30 laptops, software and provide the teacher (cant leave it to the school!!).

 

In our assessment the learning level climbed from an average of Grade 3.1 to Grade 5.6 for Grade 8 students in the last one year.

 

With the Mindspark training 180 of our students qualified for a 22k per year Gyan Sadhna scholarship of the Govt of Gujarat.

 

One of our schools had 55 scholarships - fourth highest amongst 30,000 plus Govt schools in Gujarat. This huge project is entirely funded by my other NGO NeoRajkot Foundation.
