Vikram ,
Thanks for raising these issues
First , the simple one > My-Teacher uses only text books prescribed by CBSE – downloaded from NCERT site
You are right about the difficulty of assessing / comparing the performance of two students , each getting a UNIQUE set of questions to attempt
Having said that , My-Teacher is meant for merely practising – over and over again – from 10th standard onwards upto 12th standard . No payment – no login and just from your mobile . This sets it apart from other edu apps
It also enables a student ( from any level from 1st Standard up ) , to get answers for “ Syllabus Related Questions “ . This is kind of SELF EDUCATION . Of India’s 15 lakh schools , some 12 lakhs are located in villages. Most of these are ill-equipped and under-staffed. Thousands do not have a SINGLE teacher !
On top of this , in most of these schools, the medium of instruction is a local language
Crores of children studying in these village schools have no LEVEL PLAYING FIELD , vis-à-vis their city-cousins
Through My-Teacher , I am trying to help them
Coming back to the question of comparing the “ Degree of Difficulty “ , my developer Kishan gives following explanation :
“Here's how the LLM's intelligence is leveraged:
When generating questions, the LLM was instructed to determine the difficulty based on factors such as the complexity of the concept, and the potential for confusion among students.
For example, simple recall or basic concept questions may be classified as 'Easy,' questions requiring multi-step reasoning as 'Medium,' and questions involving advanced concepts or tricky interpretations as 'Hard.'
Even though all 10 questions vary, we select 2 easy, 2 hard, and 6 medium-level questions from the database. So, the difficulty level will be consistent for all students. “
Regards,
Hemen Fua
PS :
In one of your earlier mail , you mentioned use of MINDSPARK software among your 7,000 students
Yesterday , I managed to download that App but could not get it to open ! Keeps saying “ Wrong Password “
If Google was to insist on login / password for its search , how many will quit ?
Incidentally , I tried out My-Teacher in the 8th Standard of A M Naik School ( Powai ) by getting the teacher to access it on an Interactive Panel ( with mike / speaker built in )
A student came up , selected “ Questions Beyond Syllabus “ , and tapped on mike symbol before asking ( by talking ) a question to My-Teacher
Within seconds , voice from that Interactive Panel , rang out through entire class room ( the answer to the question ), for all students to listen to !
Soon , there was a long queue of students in front of that Interactive Panel !
“ Questions Beyond Syllabus “ is meant to make students CURIOUS – INQUISITIVE - INQUIRING – CREATIVE
Just makes them THINK

Hello Hemenfua ji
One big issue that examiners face is: how can we compare marks of students who have been given different questions? The degree of difficulty would not be the same. This is what prompts most examination bodies to have the SAME question set for students for a given exam. Then only would results be comparable.
CBSE uses different question sets, sometimes changes the order, but the controversy continues over the degree of difficulty. Some online tests are adaptive - tougher questions for brighter students. But very difficult to compare results in an exam like NEET.
BTW, what syllabus does My-teacher.in follow? If someone chooses Gujarati, would it be Gujarat board?

Hallucinating Hemen ?
On “ Prepare for JEE – NEET – CET “ page of www.My-Teacher.in , it reads :
“ Over 294 Quintillion Unique tests. Yes, our system can generate more than 294 Quintillion unique test papers from our extensive question bank , ensuring no two tests are ever the same “
{ 294 Quintillion = 294,000 Billion }
Is Hemen hallucinating ?
There is only one way to find out
Dear Teacher ,
Ask those 40 students in your Class-room to pull out their mobiles and follow this instruction:
In mobile browser, type / access, www.My-Teacher.in
Select “ Prepare for JEE – NEET – CET “
Proceed to Next page
Select > Language = English / / Exam = JEE // Subject = Physics
Click “ Generate “
Now let them compare those 10 Questions ( each with 4 Multiple Choice Answers ) with one another
Sure , here and there, two students may come across “ one “ question which is same on their mobiles – but never all TEN QUESTIONS
Implication ?
If this was to be a EXAM SCENARIO, there can be NO COPYING , even if two adjacent sitting students were permitted to consult each other !
It is about time that NTA { National Testing Agency } , scale up this SIMPLE TECHNOLOGY and let 24 lakh NEET aspirants , take that exam ,
Any time chosen by each of those aspirants
On their MOBILES
Using FACE RECOGNITION ( on their phones ) – coupled with Aadhar-Password – OTP- Unique Candidate Number ( pre-assigned )
Automatic Test Expiry after predetermined time
Instant declaration of TEST SCORE ( which www.My-Teacher.in does )
I hope following takes note of this :
National Test Agency { genadmin@nta.ac.in / genadmin@nta.ac.in }
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan ( Central Education Minister )
Shri Chandrachood – Hon Chief Justice of India ( supremecourt@nic.in )
