Double lines are quite OK
Two more suggestions :
Ø As a standard practice , in all graphs , no “ underlines “ below any words / captions ( in present case , underline below “ Percentages “ and “ Years “) .
Ø Words inside the box ( Declining Market Share / Refrigerators ) are too close to the box-lines ( almost touching the borders ) . Again as a standard practice , always leave , may be 1.0 / 1.5 mm gap on all sides , so that readability improves

First two changes are done and that you can see in below diagram.
For 3rd point, line thickness function/command of ACAD is creating trouble in my PC so I have used double line (offset) method for Vertical bars.
You can check in more detail in attached file.

# 2 ( PDF of ACAD ) looks quite good except that colour need to be BLACK for better readability .
Provide a little more gap between vertical caption ( “ percentages “ ) and the Numbers ( 5 , 10 , 15 ….. )
Will increasing the thickness of the lines ( of the vertical bars ) , a little bit, improve the appearance and force reader to focus his attention there ? Pl try
