Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

RE: Revenue Share

Hi Hemen,

That article is written with a US perspective, where the market is much more mature and the rates are higher.
In India, these are the rates that we see on average.
Again, this is a generality – we are as inclined as you to see the yield increase as both of us win in this scenario.

If the Rates move up in India, we are very happy to have you see the increased yield.

Dear  Siddharth

Past 2 weeks , Shuklendu  ( Sentient Systems ) and his team were busy tweaking our web site to speed up loading of Job Alerts  /  Job Details  /  Apply

They have been able to bring down these page-loading from over 25 seconds to under 5 seconds

Further improvements are continuing

2 days back , we have sent to Revathi , a “ Sign-off “ page , containing some 11 odd “ requirements “ to be incorporated in the “ My Jobs “ widget

While HP Labs team is working on these , I think , we ( InMobi  and  RecruitGuru  ) should formalize our revenue – share understanding thru a proper agreement

I would request you to send to me a draft for my consideration , as soon as possible

With regards

hemen

Hi Hemen,

That is correct – this is exactly the CPC pricing model.
Within these earnings, we will retain 40% while you will keep 60%.

Dear  Siddharth

In your last email, you wrote :

Hi Hemen,

That is good to know.

To start off with, you would receive a revenue share of 60% of net revenues in your favour.
Our average android CPCs are about $0.03-4 for India, while the network average CTRs would be around 0.5%.

Based on the CTR that you achieve, your app will earn revenue.

I have no idea about AD Networks / how these operate / how revenue get shared with publishers.

However, I have interpreted your email as per following calculation. Is this correct ?

InMobi   Advt    Network   Revenue – Share   Model

( What  RecruitGuru can expect at different CTR % )

Ads          Ads        CTR     Rev/Click  Total Revenue
Served     Clicked    %          ( Rs )     (Rs / 1000 ad)
                                        ( 4 cents )

1000        5           0.5             2              10

1000       10           1.0            2              20

1000       20           2.0            2              40

1000       30           3.0            2              60

Regards

hemen
