NO INTERVIEWS FOR B - C - D CATEGORIES ?

Interviewing  300  Lakh  Candidates  ?

-----------------------------------------

And , out of those , appointing 1 lakh in next 6 months ?

Today’s Times of India carries following news :

Highlights :

* Over 2.8 crore people will take the online examination for nearly 90,000 jobs offered by the railways in what is being touted as the world's largest recruitment exercise.

In fact, the number of applicants for the scarce government jobs may rise further before the deadline comes to an end today.

Around 20,000 more positions are likely to be offered by the railways next month, taking the total number of jobs to 1.1 lakh.

Only a month back , I expressed my worry that this “ World’s largest Recruitment Exercise “ , could also become :

And when it does ( which it will ) , will opposition parties claim it as :

World’s Biggest Recruitment Scam “ ?

You bet !  Imagine this happening before 2019 General Elections !

It may not be yet too late to make this entire exercise “ honest / transparent / unbiased “ if Railway Ministry were to launch :

Any start up would be able to develop this Online Interview Portal in 2 months , following the detailed instructions at :

Software Architecture For Online Jobs Fair

Or , is it that we are incorrigible  ?

A BREAKTHROUGH IN HOUSING FOR ALL

A   Housing   Miracle  ?

-----------------------------

It would be, if it is :

*     a house consisting of Bed Room + Living Room + Kitchen + Bathroom + Porch

*    having an area of 650 sq ft
*    costs Rs 2.6 lakh ( @ Rs 400 / sq ft )

*    constructed within 24 hours , using recycled construction debris

Like all the readers , I too was a disbeliever till I read :

Here is why this technology should be of great interest to Shri Hardeep Singh Puriji ( Housing and Urban Affair Minister ) :

*     Govt is committed to “ Housing for All by 2022 “ ( - some 55 lakh houses ? )

*     Even those so-called “ Affordable Houses “ being constructed currently , cost  Rs
       5,000 / sq ft

*    Present construction methods are not only too slow but also very time-consuming

*    Lakhs of already constructed flats are lying vacant because poor cannot afford Rs 30
      Lakhs flat

*   In Mumbai alone , some 1,500 tons of construction and demolition debris is
generated daily and  BMC is facing great difficulty in finding places to dump this.
Illegal dumping is killing mangroves . 3 D printing will utilize all of this debris !

I request Shri Puriji to examine the possibility of re-designing the “ Housing for All “ program along the lines of :

Dharavi Remaking SPV

ALONG THE EXPECTED LINES ?

Facebook   Replies

--------------------

Yesterday , there was following news report :

Subsequently, the Ministry of Electronics & IT on March 28, 2018, sent a letter to Facebook seeking their response to the five questions, including,

whether personal data of Indian voters and users has been compromised by Cambridge Analytica or any other downstream entity in any manner,

and if so, how was it compromised?”

The government has also asked the US-headquartered firm
if any downstream entity misused data from Facebook,
what is the protection available to the data subject,
what are the specific steps proposed to be taken by Facebook to prevent any misuse of personal data for potential interference in, or manipulation of the Indian electoral process ?

I imagine Facebook reply to run like this :

Dear Shri India Government :

We have received your aforementioned notice and have following to say :

·         Each and every user of Facebook has agreed to and accepted our “ Terms and Conditions “ for use of our FREE service , as broadly outlined below :

#     Read / Manage / Find  accounts

#     Find / Modify  /  Read , your contacts

#     Access  location

#     Take Pictures / Videos

#     Record  Audio

#     Modify / Delete contents of USB

#     Read phone status , call information

#     Send / View / Receive , SMS

#     Connect / Disconnect / View , Wi-Fi

#     Read calendar events

#     Download files without notifications

Now , we are sure that you must have noted that , out of our deep concern for the privacy of the personal data of our users , unlike many of our Social Media and Mobile App competitors , we have ,

·         refrained from asking our users , permission to “ sell their parents – spouses – kids  and near relatives “ on e-com site such as eBay – Flipcart etc ,

·         that this will not be considered as “ misuse

Of course ,you would have also noticed our following condition :

“ For any legal dispute between the User and Facebook in respect of what constitutes any “ misuse “ of the data provided by the user or the data picked up by us, the binding jurisdiction shall be that of the International Court at Geneva , and that the Government of the country of the User , shall have no claim in respect of such litigation
respect of such litigation

We hope we have satisfactorily answered all the questions raised in your notice

We look forward to continue rendering our services to the citizens , the political parties and the commercial establishments of your great country and promise to contribute our best to enable India to become a $ 10 Trillion economy by 2030 “

Yours  Use-fully ,

Dear Mr Parekh:

Surabhi is of the opinion that we should not invest money on projects where returns are not within 30 to 60 days as is happening at present.

Both of us are still active, of course, you far more than me.

I will be biding my time. Because, a few changes are on the anvil for Tejora. I will brief you when the time comes.
