Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

RE: Take a look

Ashok,

I will go through the attachments you sent

In the meanwhile , you may want to look at my ( child-like ? ) “ Anjali “ to Bapuji , when I was 15 years old :

Dear Batukbhai,
In that case it is even more beautiful. Bapuji had included Abhisaar in his very first book 'કુરબાનીની કથાઓ' as a prose piece from Tagore's Katha o Kaahini. He wrote the poem much later.

Ashok,

Mine was not a translation

I was inspired by this story which I had read many years ago

Dear Batukbhai,
I loved your Abhisaar translation. Beautifully done.
The Gujarati text has obviously not copied well from my website. Practically unreadable. I am attaching a copy of my personally typed Word document.
Also, the 'આત્મકથા' pdf I had promised that would be easier to load and read.
Really enjoyed the couple of hours Asha and I could spend with you and Bharatibhabhi. I will try my absolute best to bring Bela/Lilli and Sagar/Rebekah to see you.
Affectionately,
Ashok
