Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

Our Idea Stolen !

Rakesh,

Following report goes to “ validate “ our idea of,

What we are trying to do in case of MSME ( sharing of best practices by large / successful companies ) , is exactly what Niti Aayog too are trying to do , in respect of “ Successful States “ sharing their “ Success Stories “ with the entire economy  !

New Delhi:  Niti Aayog has asked states and union territories to share “resolution documents” and best practices adopted by them for showcasing them on its upcoming knowledge portal.

The government think tank feels this would “spur” officials towards meeting the objectives they have set for 2022.

During a national conference of all chief secretaries organised in July, states had presented innovative practices adopted by them before Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Subsequently in August, the PM had addressed district collectors, where he had asked them to prepare a vision document, or “resolution document” for their districts which should include 10 or 15 objectives they feel should be achieved by 2022, as part of the government’s ‘Sankalp se Siddhi’ campaign.

A letter written by Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant to states and UT chief secretaries mentions both the events.

The letter states he is sure that most district collectors would have prepared the resolution documents and have started implementing tasks by converging resources available through central and state government schemes, and suggests sharing with Niti Aayog both the resolution documents and innovative practices adopted by the states and UTs.

Niti Aayog is launching a knowledge portal and we intend to showcase such best practices identified by you and the resolution documents prepared in your state by District Collectors,” the letter states.
