Hi all,

I have had a call with Sandeep and the issues faced are because the database connected to the application is missing certain columns and stored procedures. Hence it is throwing Invalid Column and Invalid Object errors.

The steps to resolve these have been shared with Sandeep over the call. I am listing them down for reference as well:

1.       Backup and delete existing database connected to application as two databases with the same name cannot reside on the same server.

2.       Since the data and log files have been backed up – The database will need to be attached.

Right click on the database server and select the attach option. Follow the wizard to attach databases. A mdf (located in Data folder of backup) and a ldf (located in Log folder of backup) are needed for successful attachment.

If the database is correct and has the necessary database objects, all the errors will be resolved. If, however the database is still incorrect or not the latest backup, the errors will continue to persist.
