Wanted to share a good development with you. As the organisation completes 30 years this year, I too complete 30 years of working today. Fresh out of college, I began my first job with Firmenich then known as M C Davar Aromatics through the ICWA campus placement on 25th July.

 

Though I have had three transitions of a decade with corporates, then 6 years of teaching and the last 14 years with 3P, this stint with 3P is the closest to my heart!

 

And history repeats itself! 

 

My son joins his first job in this week too exactly within a month of completing his post graduation and double Master's in the US.  Last couple of months have been extremely tough for us with Parth being alone in the US in the pandemic, new laws of immigration and H1B visa issues and for him to necessarily have a job within a month's time so as to be able to continue his stay in the US. In the current recruitment conditions, it was equally tough for him to get a job but God has been kind. He not only found a job for himself but also surprised us with a good opportunity. He joined  CISCO Airsystems in Sacramento California this week as the After Market Sales Manager. Also rented his own 1 BHK apartment, moved his house from SLO to Sacramento and set up his house.

 

While he was selected at the campus for a prestigious job at the Delloitte in Consulting, the same joining has now been moved to 6 months later and thus the need to identify another job.
