Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

CONGRATULATIONS

 Dear Nirmalya Ballavji,

Congratulations on your research on Graphene, as reported in :

Indian Scientists Look To Produce Cheaper Graphene To Boost EV Adoption

-      Which reads :

“ The team has produced a modified version of graphene, which is 100 times cheaper than the ones currently available

in the market . The rGO is reportedly 100 times less costly than the commercial rGO available today in the market.

The lab makes it at a cost of just INR 700 as against INR 70 K from international companies.

Log9’s fuel cells will run on clean water and needs a change of aluminium bars after 1000 kilometers only. Whereas

EVs powered by lithium-ion batteries have a maximum range of 250 Kms after which the vehicle has to be charged

for three to four hours. https://www.log9materials.com/  “

Dear Shri Hemen Parekh ji,

Thank you for your kind mail regarding the endless possibilities of graphene.

In particular, the possible usage in cars and buses.

Your blog and views expressed therein are visionary.

It will take policy makers, scientists and innovators to come together.

Do keep up the good work.

Best regards.
