Dear Gabriel,
Just came across following news :
Phinergy Awarded as Technology Pioneer by World Economic Forum
Congratulations !
I believe your Alu-Air batteries will ( someday soon ? ) replace Li-ion Batteries . For reducing pollution, yours is a much better option
I also get a feeling that Alu-Air batteries will be much easier to make and maintain, besides being much cheaper than Li-ion batteries
They have the potential to bring down price of EVs to “ below “ , equivalent ICE vehicles , thereby accelerating change-over to EVs around the World
And presumably, these Alu-Air batteries can be recharged ( when needed ) from a domestic 210 V outlet
I am eagerly awaiting further news on your tie-up with Indian Oil – Ashok Leyland – Maruti , in India / especially since setting up Li-ion Gigafactories will need huge capital investment and ( under Indian conditions ), take 5 years to build !
I have been a long-time advocate of PHINERGY, as can be seen from my following blogs ( each sent as e-mail to Indian Cabinet Ministers ) :
Ø EV juice from Alu-Air Battery ? …………….. ( 16 Jan 2018 )
Ø Ashok Leyland is not waiting ! ………………..( 17 Jan 2018 )
Ø Holy Grail for Electric Vehicles ……………….( 17 Feb 2018 )
Ø Ashok Leyland : On the double ………………..( 01 Apr 2018 )
Ø A PM with “ Inside Information “ ?.............( 04 Feb 2020 )
Ø A Battery Breakthrough ?..........................( 25 Feb 2021 )
Ø All that glitters is ….. Gold ? …………………..( 17 Mar 2021 )
I would be happy to know if any of the EV manufacturers in the world, have already started installing Alu-Air batteries in their models
With regards,
Hemen Parekh
