Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

HCP,
Finally, I got to these. Very helpful indeed.
What is missing for me is this: What is the path to seeking CSR funds from corporations? How would one go about doing it? Any papers, organizations, experts, helpers...?
Any insights you provide will be very helpful.
Thanks.
Amit

Amit,

Since Adivasi Sanskar Mandal is a Registered Society / Trust and also has 80 G exemption for donations , I feel donations given to ASM should be eligible for adjustment against an Indian Donor Company’s CSR obligations

HCP,

I did look at the site you referred me to:
http://www.mca.gov.in/MinistryV2/faq+on+csr+cell.html

I cannot figure out if corporate contributions made to the institution I am working with (Adivasi Sanskar Mandal) qualifies or not. If you can advise me, it would be helpful.

For your reference, I have attached a letter (2 pages) from Bhagubhai Darji of Adivasi Sanskar Mandal. Details provided there-in could potentially help you assess.

Thanks.
Amit
