Subject: RE: The Sion is going on tour again!
Dear Isabel,
Thank you for sending this update on Sono Motors
For over 2 years , I have been advocating to India’s policy
makers ( includes all Central Cabinet Ministers ) that an Electric Car which
gets its charge from roof top mounted Solar Panels , is the ONLY answer to any
number of problems that we face
Among the dozens of emails that I have sent to them , is the
following :
25,000 New Petrol Pumps ?
Why ?
Questions :
·
How soon do you think Sono cars will become commercially
available to the public ?
·
Any possibility of Sono conducting a TEST DRIVE in India ? If
yes , how soon ?
With regards,
From: Isabel - Sono

Dear Hemen,
The
sun outside is glorious and we’re making sure the cheer spreads to
your letter box too. We’ve put together a little summer surprise
for you this year.

The Sion is going on tour again!
By now we’ve grown from 5,000 people to almost 7,000 people all
believing in our concept of sustainable mobility. That also means
there are more and more people wanting to drive the Sion.
So, with this in mind, we think it’s time: time for the next Sion
test drive tour!
This means our journey across Europe is continuing! The Sion will
be on its way to you again beginning in September. Our team will of
course also be there to keep you company during your joyride with
the Sion and, most importantly, to answer any questions you might
have about the car or Sono Motors.
We’ll be making lots of pit stops in Germany and, at the same time,
cruising to a new destination: the Netherlands. Our neighboring
country is considered one of Europe’s leaders when it comes to
electro mobility. We’re already looking forward to catching up with
people on the ground and seeing how their experience has been, and
are excited about all the ideas and suggestions we’ll get for the
Sion. Your family and friends are warmly invited to attend too!
We have 12 cities in Germany and 6 cities in the Netherlands on the
agenda and we’ll set the wheels in motion in Fürth on 1 September.
Our arrival in the Netherlands is slated for 7 September in
Maastricht. We’ll then head home to Munich in the middle of October
for our final event.
You can sign up to test drive the Sion on our website.
Here’s where you’ll be able to meet us:
Fürth
(1 – 2.9.2018), Darmstadt
(3 – 4.9.2018), Siegburg (Bonn) (5 –
6.9.2018), Maastricht
(7 – 8.9.2018), Eindhoven
(9 – 10.9.2018), Delft
(11 – 12.9.2018), Almere
(13 – 14.9.2018), Groningen
(15 – 16.9.2018), Hengelo
(19 – 20.9.2018), Detmold
(21 – 22.9.2018), Hildesheim
(23 – 24.9.2018), Göttingen
(25 – 26.9.2018), Fulda
(27 – 28.9.2018),
Heilbronn (29 – 30.9.2018), Memmingen
(3 – 4.10.2018), Weilheim
(eRUDA) (5.10.2018), Passau
(9 – 11.10.2018) and Munich

Together for a more sustainable future
At Sono Motors, we always act based on our belief that mobility
needs to be climate-friendly, resource-conserving and fair. This
firm belief is even rooted in Sono Motors’ articles of association.
Beyond that, you’ll find this fundamental idea reflected across all
areas of our everyday business, and our 2017 Sustainability Report
can show you everything that’s been going on so far.
|
|
|
Driven by
sustainability: our colleagues in Business Development, Katja,
Berke and Isabel, wrote the report together.
|
|
|
In
addition to our no paper policy, an employee participation program
and using recycled computer hardware, you’ll see that our
endeavours stretch to healthy food, avoiding waste and minimising
water consumption. Our efforts to reduce CO2-emissions
play a particularly important role. We try to prevent them or
reduce them and, if nothing else works, we offset them. You can see
exactly how much CO2 we offset last year here.
|
|
|
We
want to protect and improve the environment and everyone’s living
conditions. Our most important goal is to protect the environment.
It’s the reason Sono Motors exists in the first place.
Sunny regards from Munich,
Isabel

I am responsible for a
variety of sustainability aspects at Sono Motors. A great deal of
my work focuses on asking what impact the Sion and Sono Motors
will have on our environment. This might explain why my co-workers
have taken to calling me the ‘green sheriff’.
