Topmost Candidate for PLI ?

 Dear Hemen,

Given we are in a live capital raise program, please find attached our investment overview and a macro-overview produced by Rystad Energy.

Your questions are easily addressed but take a bit more substance to the discussion (for example we have a roadmap to continue to develop generations of ink, resulting in increased performance) therefore a simple one liner would not suffice.

We have performance data from pilot installations and have modest expectations of our 1G product which, after detailed discussions with potential clients, has resulted in requests for advanced orders.

Thank you again for your interest.

With kind regards, Anthony

Dear Anthony,

I fully appreciate your concerns

I propose forwarding your response to the following persons, each of whom I know personally :

#   Shri Amitabh Kant  (  CEO – NITI Aayog / Central Govt’s Policy Planning Body )

#   Shri Mukesh Ambani ( Chairman – Reliance Group )

#   Shri Gautam Adani  (  Chairman -  Adani Group )

#   Shri Anil Naik  ( Chairman – L&T Group ) ( I worked in L&T from 1959 till 1990 )

I will request them to write to you directly, in case of interest .

Regards,

Hemen

PS :

In the article which I mentioned in my blog, at one place it says : Cost of printed solar would be approx. $ 10 per sq meter

Hence, it would cost $ 1000  to cover a terrace of 100 sq meter   ( approx. 1100 sq ft / a typical terrace of an Indian concrete building )

How much power would that generate ?

Do you have any comparative cost calculations which I can share with these persons ?

Any actual ( residential – commercial – industrial ) “ Reference Installations “ that they can check out ?

Dear Hemen,

At this stage we are inundated with inbound enquiries and would prefer my email or details of Kardinia Energy was not posted on any blog.

However, if you think specific members of India’s policy makers or industrialists would be interested and you know them personally – you may forward my email to them but on a limited basis, please.

I would kindly request my details are not circulated or in a public forum in any other instance.

With kind regards, Anthony

Dear Anthony,

Many thanks for your prompt – and encouraging – response

My personal interest is only to promote technologies which hold promise to arrest the global warming

I do this by bringing such news to the attention of India’s Policy Makers / Industrialists , through e-mailing my blogs ( www.hemenparekh.in )

Would it be OK if I incorporate your response in my next blog – and forward it to these decision-makers ?

With kind regards,

Hemen

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in Printed Solar.

I am the CEO of Kardinia Energy, a company established in 2020 to commercialise Printed Solar on a global scale.  Professor Dastoor and I are the co-Founders of Kardinia Energy.

We have been developing our company discreetly and without generating any media or PR to this point. However, the level of inbound inquiries we are receiving daily is incredible and appears to be increasing without any prompting from Kardinia Energy. This demand is a testament to the vision of Professor Dastoor over many decades to provide a solution to the global demands for sustainable energy. It truly is wonderful and game-changing technology.

These are very exciting times for our company, and we are humbled by the constant and diverse interest in our technology. We are currently in active dialogue with major corporations across the world (including India) regards both direct investment and regional licensing agreements. In particular, the recent interest from India has been significant.

I’m not entirely sure about the specific nature of your email however it includes a significant number of parties.  If there is interest to discuss the opportunities for Printed Solar in India, then please contact either me or David Pearce (cc’d) directly.

Printed Solar will support the desperate need for our planet to change the paradigm of energy generation using low-cost and truly sustainable energy. Our website is (HERE).

On behalf of Professor Dastoor, I must thank you for contacting him and your commitment and endeavour to making our planet a more sustainable place for future generations.

With kind regards, Anthony

Topmost Candidate for PLI  ?

Dear Shri R K Singhji

( Minister – MNRE / raj.ksingh@gov.in )

Your Ministry has introduced PLI ( Production Linked Incentive ) Scheme for manufacture of conventional ( Mo-Si ), Solar PV panels / modules

I urge you to :

#  Consider extending this scheme to Organic Printed Solar Film, described below

#  Invite Prof Paul Dastoor to set up in India, a manufacturing facility with a capacity to produce 100 million Sq

    Meter per year

( @10 Sq Meter per concrete / pucca building for 10 million buildings / This facility will

supply all of our 30 million concrete / pucca buildings, with enough film in 3 years )

This has the potential to fulfil the commitment made by our PM Shri Modiji at COP26 in Glasgow

Creator of the organic printed solar material, Physicist Professor Paul Dastoor from the Faculty of Science said his team were excited to take their ‘science to the streets’ in what represented significant progress toward commercial availability of the material.

The government is seeking to bring down carbon emissions over the next 30 years and the community has been very engaged on this subject. Globally, there are many research groups like ours working on sustainable energy technologies and now, via the technology investment roadmap, is our opportunity to ensure we invest in and deliver clever solutions,” said Professor Dastoor.
