Mumbai Climate Action Plan ( MCAP )
Context :
Now, be part of climate change plan / TOI / 05 Sept 021
Extract :
Under Mumbai climate action plan (MCAP), BMC will begin a citizen consultation process for four days, from Sept 6
The topics , schedule and link for registration for the four seminars have been listed on BMC’s twitter handle @mybmc
The topics will be :
Sept 6 : Air Quality
Sept 7 : Energy and Buildings
Sept 8 : Urban Greening and Biodiversity
Sept 9 : Urban Flooding & Water Resource Management
Experts and citizens should register online to participate in the webinars
Incidentally , @mybmc , I could not find any link for registering for these seminars
And till this morning ( 9 am on 6 Sept ) , the EVENT page of MCAP looked like this :
https://mcap.mcgm.gov.in/
The website : mcap.mcgm.gov.in , also has an option to send in suggestions, objections and recommendations related to climate change
==============================
On the website FEEDBACK FORM, one can choose from following FOCUS AREAS :
# Adaptation ( General )
# Air Quality
# Building Energy Efficiency
# Mitigation ( General )
# Sustainable Mobility
# Sustainable Waste Management
# Urban Floods and Water Resource Management
# Urban Green Cover and Biodiversity
The feedback must not exceed 4,000 characters
==============================
May be one can describe a suggestion in 4,000 characters on any ONE AREA, but one needs more space to cover several areas
This is why I list below, links to my relevant blogs :
