How about an Electric car , which has only 20 components as compared to a Petrol Car which has  2,000  !

 

Of course , it has to be a car which you can charge at home

 

Also compare “ Operating Cost / Km “, comprising , petrol + oil + maintenance , of both types , before deciding ( although Purchase cost of EV is likely to be higher )

 

If there is SAVING in Operating Cost , then work out , within how many years will you recover the extra “ Initial Purchase Price “ of an EV
