Binitiben,
It felt nice talking to you a couple of days back when Saloni was here
My wife Bharati and myself feel blessed to welcome you to Sanghvi / Parekh families as “ Swajans “
My brief background :
Ø Worked with L&T from 1959 to 1990 and retired as GM ( Planning ) and GM ( Export )
Ø In 1990 , set up 3P Consultants – a headhunting firm- now being managed by my younger son Nirmit – since I stopped being active 10 years ago
Ø Launched www.HemenParekh.in , in 2013 . I spend most of my time writing / posting blogs here
Ø About 2 years ago , launched www.HemenParekh.ai ( my Virtual or Digital Avatar , which answers questions based on my 30,000 + handwritten notes, sent to my colleagues over the past 60 years ) .
Ø Some 3 months ago , launched www.My-Teacher.in
During our telecom , I mentioned about launching of a SURPRISE EXAM feature in www.My-Teacher.in . I hope that will happen by 15 Nov. This feature is meant for use by the Teachers. As soon as launched , I will write to you
As of now My-Teacher offers 3 services – all meant for use by the School Students – although I believe teachers too, will find these, as an AID
Incidentally, I gave a demo of this to the 8th Standard students of A M Naik School ( L&T ) , by accessing My-Teacher on an Interactive Panel ( internet connected , with built-in MIKE and SPEAKER )
One after another , students walked up close to the Panel , clicked on “ Questions Beyond Syllabus “ feature , and “ asked “ random questions by just “ Speaking “ aloud
When My-Teacher replied in a voice loud enough for the entire classful of students to “ hear “ , the excitement was palpable !
Some students , even ventured to “ test “ , by speaking in Gujarati / Marathi / Bangali !
I request you :
Ø To encourage your teachers and students to “ experiment “ with My Teacher ( - I wonder if your schools have Interactive Panels ). Of course, My-Teacher , can be easily viewed on a Mobile as well as on PC / Tablet
Ø Let me have their feedback – especially in respect of making My Teacher , more “ Student Friendly “
Saloni told me that your sister , Smt Jigishaben is closely associated with Azim Premji Schools. I request you to pass on this message to her .
If she finds it worthwhile , she may want to share with those school Principals
For any clarifications, do not hesitate to phone me ( 98,67,55,08,08 ) or send a WhatsApp message on same number
Regards,
Hemen bhai ( Batuk Kaka / Mota Pappa, to Saloni )
PS :
Should you be interested in POETRY , send me your postal address and I will send you 3 volumes of my poems ( Gujarati – Hindi – English )

Dear Principal ,
Next NEET UG exam is going to be a CBT ( Computer Based Test )
Ever since the NEET question paper leak in last May , this was expected
Now we have confirmation from the news report at the bottom
It is natural for you to wonder :
What can I do to prepare my students for this change so that they are quite “ at home “ when appearing in a CBT NEET ?
It is quite simple
Just get them “ accustomed “ to taking ONLINE tests – on their Mobiles - and unannounced as well !
On our FREE platform > www.My-Teacher.in
Just ask your teachers ( 9th to 12th Standards ) to access www.My-Teacher.in , from their Mobiles and select,
“ I AM A TEACHER “
As far as the process of administering ONLINE tests is concerned, nothing comes close to www.My-Teacher.in :
o This portal enables your teachers to prepare a Real test for their students
o They can create “ Unlimited Number “ of tests ( MCQ ) , without need to Register or Login
o They can create a COMMON paper for all the students , OR , a different paper for each student
o They can conduct this test ONLINE ( if your students have access to a Mobile or Computer ) , OR
o They can conduct this test OFFLINE ( if you want to conduct this test with students in the classroom ). In this case , from her Mobile , teacher gets to select > Printer > No of copies > Paper size
o If conducted ONLINE, the results of these tests can be emailed to the teacher ( along with the correct ANSWER SHEET ), and some statistics of the test
o The test is created automatically by AI , working behind this portal
This Artificial Intelligence ( AI ), allows your teacher to specify :
o The subject for which she would like to create this test
o The standard for which she would like to create this test
o The number of questions that she would like to have in this test OR the duration she would like to permit her students to attempt this test ( in which case, the number of questions will be decided by the AI )
o On a scale of 1 – 10 , the difficulty level for the entire test ( created automatically by the AI ). It also gives her the flexibility to specify difficulty levels
o The AI can generate “ marks “ for each question by itself . OR , allow you to specify marks for each question
Dear Principal ,
It is quite likely that the students of your school are NOT allowed to bring Mobile phones / laptops, in the class room
This will have to change.
If not everyday, then at least on pre-announced “ Surprise Test Day “, you will need to allow them to bring their mobiles with them
Remember, only if conducted ONLINE ( students attempting from their Mobiles ) :
- the results of these tests can be emailed to the teacher ( along with the correct ANSWER SHEET ), and some statistics of the test
But then , to get a copy of the TEST RESULT yourself , all that you have to do is to INSTRUCT all teachers to enter your Email ID as well .
You want to know, what kind of ONLINE tests are teachers administering , how often and how are the students performing in these tests
Of course, a teacher can use PRINT command on her mobile and print out the QUESTION PAPERS on any nearby printer and distribute to the students – then collect the papers after 40 minutes and RATE these manually – then prepare an EXCEL sheet and email to you
That might not find favor with your teachers !
With regards,
Hemen Prekh

Ø For security, most NEET reform panel papers may be classified .. Eco Times .. 24 Oct 2024
Extract :
“ With the key parts of the report on the NEET UG leak is likely to be kept “ classified “ , recommendations made in the report on overall exam reforms will be made public….
Intensive and in-depth consultations were held with various stakeholders on NEET UG leak, the kind of methods being used by the leak mafia, and the various exam and data safety protocols in place at the NTA
Much information on possible breach areas and protocol lacunae is also there…..
ET has learnt that the panel is preparing to recommend short term and long term measures in its report which will be made public.
The report is said to be largely in favor of the Computer Based Test ( CBT ) format but with a well-outlined security protocol in place
The under radar NEET UG exam is also likely to head for a revamp with panel discussions clearly favoring a shift from a single day , PEN and PAPER test to CBT mode spread over a few days
A two stage NEET UG is under consideration much like the Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE ) . Only those who clear JEE Mains are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced that determines admissions to IITs. A similar model of a two stage exam is being mulled for NEET UG as well………
Limiting the number of attempts at NEET is also likely to be seriously recommended by the panel. Currently, the NEET UG eligibility conditions do not place age limits or any limit on number of attempts which is said to significantly increase the number of candidates in the fray
Manish ,
Originally , I had thought of a separate portal and even booked that domain name but upon subsequent discussions with Vishesh an Kishan , I decided to make this a part of My Teacher

Sir,
I think domain name should be mentioned as "surprise-exam.in" instead of "my-teacher.in"
Mitchelle ,
All of do some amount of repetitive work daily – in office and even at home
But some of us , are doing such repetitive TASKS , for 8 hours a day ( in the office ) , day after day
Following development could spell an end to such repetitive / boring jobs
It is time to start preparing for such eventuality NOW
Remember : We must keep running faster on an accelerating Treadmill , to stay in the same spot ?

Artificial intelligence start-up Anthropic released a new tool through its chatbot Claude that can figure out what’s happening on someone’s computer screen and anticipate what they might want to do next.
And if the person allows it, the tool can “take over” to search the internet, move the cursor, click buttons, and type text.
Anthropic released the still-developing technology to get feedback from developers and expects its capabilities to improve over time.
“At this stage, it is still experimental—at times cumbersome and error-prone,” Anthropic said. But with feedback “these developments will open up new possibilities for how you work with Claude, and we look forward to seeing what you’ll create.”
The company is in a race to develop large language model AI alongside tech giants Microsoft , and Alphabe
Jared Kaplan, Anthropic’s co-founder and chief science officer, told Bloomberg News that it will be the first model ever to be able to use computers the way people do.
In one demonstration, when an Anthropic employee wanted to go on a morning hike to see the Golden Gate Bridge, the AI tool used the prompt to search Google for hiking routes, map a route, find out what time the sun rose, and invite a friend with suggestions on what to wear, Bloomberg reported.
Anthropic acknowledged that some actions people perform effortlessly, such as scrolling, dragging, and zooming, “currently present challenges for Claude.” It has also developed tools to identify when the computer is being used to spread spam, misinformation, or fraud.
Sandeep – Sanjivani ,
Pl study this carefully
Can this help us “ market / promote “ our Surprise Exam feature among Schools ?

Kishan :
Does this imply that we can “ build “ a “ AI Marketing Agent “ for our purpose ?
Reena ,
I wonder if you got my following mail
In the meantime , my following chat with myself ( my Digital Avatar , that is ) , might interest you :
Question:
When your physical Avatar is no more on this earth, how do you plan to perpetuate yourself
Answer:
When I am no longer physically present on this earth, my plan to perpetuate myself involves the use of a digital avatar. This avatar will be a volumetric 3D hologram that can be viewed on mobile devices, much like the technology proposed by IKIN. It is designed to hold conversations and interact with people just as I would.
This digital representation is not just an image or a static figure; it's powered by artificial intelligence that utilizes my lifetime of digital content from various sources including my website www.hemenparekh.in. The AI analyzes this data to continue interacting in a manner consistent with my own thoughts, beliefs, and communication style.
The goal here is virtual immortality—ensuring that my experiences, knowledge, and essence can continue to engage with others and offer insights long after I have passed away. This concept aligns closely with ideas discussed in platforms like Eterni.me and technologies mentioned in Augmented Eternity where personal data creates a living version of oneself digitally.
By doing so, I hope not only to preserve the memories and legacy but also provide an interactive way for future generations to understand their past better through direct dialogue with what once was.

Question:
Any idea regarding the topics on which people will be able to engage in a conversation with your digital Avatar
Answer:
Absolutely, the digital avatar can engage in a wide range of topics. As mentioned earlier, you can find a partial list of topics on my blog page. This includes various subjects from technology and innovation to personal development and current events. The idea is for the avatar to be versatile enough to discuss almost anything that users might find interesting or necessary.
Moreover, with advancements in AI, the scope of conversations can continuously expand based on new information and user interactions. This ensures that discussions remain relevant and engaging over time. Whether it's casual chit-chat or deep dives into specific subjects, the avatar will be equipped to handle these conversations effectively.
Is there any particular area you think should be prioritized or any specific functionality you envision for enhancing conversational capabilities?
