Prashant told me that Invenea asked $
5000 to de-encrypt the FileFinder data
I suppose , this too , they would do
provided we switch over to Invenea – where we may get “ locked up “ once more !
Then there is no gain !
Should we decide to spend ( any amount
now ) to de-encrypt the data , then we must have assurance that we never get “
locked in “ into any ATS service , in future and that we should be able to “
migrate “ to any other ATS provider in future ,without hassle ( whether it is
TalentRecruit or any one else )
Instead of paying $ 5000 to Invenea , it
might be possible to get some local S/W geek to do this for ( say ) $500
I believe there are sites where you can
post your requirement ( as a project ) and ask geeks to quote their price /
delivery
May be worth exploring , if we want to
get out of the clutches of Filefinder
It may also be possible to post our
needs on Linkedin or some similar web site frequented by s/w guys

please find my response to your queries, in red, as given below.
In case of our subscribing, would
your technical team be able to migrate all of our data from File-Finder (which
we use now) to your system, within a week? (Do note that our data is in an
encrypted SQL format and is password protected by FileFinder)
Data Migration is possible only for
non-encrypted data. The effort and duration required will only be confirmed
post going through the format of the data by the technical team.
Once migrated , we may still want
(as a precaution), to continue using File-Finder parallelly with TalentRecruit
, for a few months , till we are completely satisfied with the functioning of
TalentRecruit. In such an event , can you assure us that whatever data we
continue to enter into File-Finder (during the period of overlap) , will get
migrated into TalentRecruit system automatically , so that we do not need to
re-enter the same data twice ?
This can be done, but only in case of
non-encrypted data.
During the period of overlap – and
thereafter – will we be able to take a total DATA-BASE BACKUP , from
TalentRecruit cloud , onto our local server , at predetermined intervals and be
able to do this automatically ?
TalentRecruit can provide the data in
SQL format. The duration of which we can discuss and confirm.
Can such DATABASE BACKUP be
in non-encrypted SQL format , so that we can use it offline for different types
of analytics through an API ?
The SQL Data provided by
TalentRecruit will be in non-encrypted format.

In OES , we had following feature :
As soon as a
recruiter / consultant logged into the system for the first time in the day,
the first page greeted him / her with the following display,
“ Here are the
stages/ activities, for each of your assignment , where you are running
late – and by how many days “
There will be a
tabulation of
stages / activities ( mandate wise )
The concerned
consultant can proceed to the next page , only AFTER he clicks , NOTED
This was like
an “ automated reminder system “ which ensured that everyone tried to catch up
with the schedule
And , of course
, the boss ( admin ) saw this tabulation at any time for any consultant and
could phone him or post his comment / suggestion
