Dear Mr Hemen Sir,
Extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused..  In the last 2-3 days,  we had to change the backend cloud server to a different one. While doing so, we were testing the Job widget to see whether it will work well with the new server, and for this we had brought down the old server couple of times (for few minutes only).. It is possible, that the testing from your side happened at those moments.
In fact, we had made the widget such that even when the backend server changes, it should adapt itself.. There was a minor problem with that feature.. We have now corrected it and would like to release a new version of the apk..  I was actually going to write to you today about this issue and release a new apk file..

Please find attached the new apk files. Please test it once and let us know if the functionality is ok..  Apologies once again..

I am not sure if the errors you mention is same as the above server-related error or something to do with Akash 2 port.  In either case, I request Mr. Shuklendu to let us know the details of the error faced on Akash2.  We have ordered one unit of Akash 2 online and awaiting its delivery. Meanwhile, if you could send us a tablet, we will be glad to test it out on the same.

 Thanks !

Best regards
Geetha

Subject: My Jobs Widget

Dear Bhushan

For past 2 / 3 days , My Jobs is not working properly – sometimes , not at all

Yesterday , I re-installed it , without improvement

Here is feedback from Amit Goyal ( who replaced Jasjit Singh at Datawind as VP-Platform Strategy ):

We tested My Jobs app and it didn't seem to work. Most of the time it fails to launch and if at all it goes to the next step, an error pops up in indefinite loop

On Friday, I emailed APK file to Prof Rahul Deshmukh, Head-CDEEP, IIT-Bombay, for installing and testing on Aakash2

Prof Deshmukh is heading the team at IIT-B, which is developing apps for Aakash2

By a copy of this email , I am requesting Shuklendu to talk to you and explain the error-messages being received during operation

I would appreciate if Prosonjit could look into this on priority basis

As mentioned in my last mail , Teracom may have started pre-installing My Jobs on their tablets by now

I have also sent APK file to another 30+ tablet manufacturers ( with User Name / Password ), with a request to install and test

With regards
