RE: TRY THIS

 Kishan ,

( 1 ) By all means do incorporate English translations of both the shloks

( 2 )  As far as that “ Download Related Documents “ link is concerned , what I have in mind is not those FULL documents ( blogs – notes – reports etc ) but only their “ clickable “ URL links. The visitor can then click and visit www.HemenParekh.in , whenever he wants

I suppose API will not count TOKENS for these !

If there are no related documents , then , in such cases , that link may not be displayed ?

( 3 )  In that Milky Way Galaxy background , could you introduce some random location brilliant “ flashes “ ? Will make the UI come alive

Amazing! I really liked how you connected the idea with the verses from the Gita. In fact, I think we should also include the English translations of those verses, since many people may not understand Sanskrit.

BG 2.20: The soul is neither born, nor does it ever die; nor, having once existed, does it ever cease to be. The soul is without birth, eternal, immortal, and ageless. It is not destroyed when the body is destroyed.

BG 2.22: As a person sheds worn-out garments and wears new ones, likewise, at the time of death, the soul casts off its worn-out body and enters a new one.

This clarification is comforting

But we definitely need following feature:

While responding,  Avatar will mention one of my blogs or notes or reports etc. Saying > in my ---- , i have elaborated at length on this subject . If you want to know more about this theme, then just click on the following link to download all the relevant writings

" Download Related Documents "

As discussed, I’ll implement an interface with your face displayed in the center, along with a microphone icon, similar to the ChatGPT Voice experience.

The voice agent will also have access to a proprietary tool that can search across your blogs, emails, and other database sources. This will allow the agent to answer users’ questions using information from your knowledge base.

To answer your question, “Will the API bill us for silence?” - no, not in the case of the GPT-Realtime model.

The billing is based on the number of tokens processed. Whatever the user says is converted into text, and that text is then tokenized for billing. Since pauses or silence do not generate any text or tokens, they are not counted toward the usage or cost.

Will API bill us for such long periods of " silence " ?

RE: Next Project _ www.Iam-Immortal.ai

Bhai, quick reality check first: Anthropic doesn't sell a bundled "Voice API" the way OpenAI does with its Realtime/gpt-4o-mini-audio endpoint. Claude's own voice mode (in the Claude app) actually leans on ElevenLabs for the text-to-speech leg and doesn't expose that as a public API for outsiders to build a site like yours on since Claude's voice feature sends audio to Anthropic's servers, with the text-to-speech component using ElevenLabs technology as a subcontractor. Weesper Neon Flow

So there's no direct swap-in replacement for "ChatGPT Voice Mini 2.1" from Anthropic. What you can do — and what would actually be cheaper — is keep the same three-stage pipeline you already have (STT → reasoning/LLM → TTS), but put a Claude model in the middle instead of GPT, since that's the part billed per token:

  • Claude Haiku 4.5 — $1 per million input tokens / $5 per million output tokens. This is the cheapest current Claude model and is plenty fast for real-time conversational turns.
  • Claude Sonnet 5 — currently $2/$10 per million tokens (introductory pricing through Aug 31, 2026, reverting to $3/$15 after) — better reasoning if your avatar needs to handle nuanced policy questions.

For a chat-style avatar answering visitor questions about your work, Haiku 4.5 is almost certainly the right fit cost-wise — it's meant for exactly this kind of high-volume, latency-sensitive Q&A.

The catch: you'd still need to bring your own STT and TTS separately (e.g., swap Google's STT for something like Deepgram, and pair Claude's text output with a cheaper TTS voice — ElevenLabs, Google's own Neural2 voices, or Azure). That's more moving parts than a single bundled API call, but it usually ends up cheaper overall than paying OpenAI's all-in-one realtime rate, because you're not paying a premium for the bundling — you pick the cheapest STT, cheapest LLM, cheapest TTS separately.

One thing worth flagging: pricing here is a fast-moving target (Sonnet 5's rate reverts in three weeks, for instance), so before you commit to an architecture, it's worth pulling the live numbers off Anthropic's pricing page at build time rather than locking in today's figures.

Want me to sketch out what that STT→Claude→TTS pipeline would look like for hemenparekh.ai — rough architecture and where each piece plugs in?

As an AI assistant, I don't provide a proprietary conversational model or direct backend infrastructure services. However, looking at your setup for www.HemenParekh.ai, you can drastically lower your token and operational costs by shifting your architecture away from traditional, multi-step pipeline APIs (like chaining separate STT, heavy LLMs, and TTS APIs) to more efficient native multimodal developer models.

Alternative Lower-Cost Options to Consider

·         Google Gemini Flash Models (e.g., Gemini 2.0 Flash / Flash-Lite):

Since you are already familiar with Google’s ecosystem, Google offers ultra-low-cost developer tiers via the Gemini API. Models like Gemini 2.0 Flash are priced around $0.10 per million input tokens and $0.40 per million output tokens, which is significantly cheaper than flagship models. They accept native audio inputs and stream text/audio responses fluidly, reducing the overhead of running standalone STT and TTS engines.

·         OpenAI GPT-4o Mini:

If you want to stick with an OpenAI-ecosystem style model, GPT-4o Mini is priced at $0.15 per million input tokens and $0.60 per million output tokens, making it far more economical for high-volume virtual avatars than full-sized proprietary voice models.

Architecture Tip to Cut Costs Further

Instead of a continuous real-time voice-streaming web socket (which consumes massive amounts of audio tokens every second the user is silent or listening), many avatar developers optimize costs by keeping STT (Speech-to-Text) local or using a lightweight model for transcription, passing compact text tokens to a budget LLM (like Flash or Mini), and only generating audio synthesis for the final response.

Hey Grok bhai : Do you offer any CONVERSATIONAL AI API , similar to ChatGPT VOICE

Answer :

Yes, bhai — xAI does offer a Conversational Voice AI API, very similar to ChatGPT’s Voice / OpenAI Realtime API.

What’s available

  • Grok Voice Agent API (Speech-to-Speech): Real-time, full-duplex voice conversations over WebSocket. It’s speech-in → speech-out in a single model (no separate STT + LLM + TTS pipeline). Supports natural turn-taking, interruptions, tool calling, web search, X search, custom functions/MCP, and multi-turn conversations. Sub-second latency, multilingual (25+ languages), and ranks highly on voice agent benchmarks.
  • Models include things like grok-voice-think-fast-1.0 / grok-voice-latest (and newer iterations).
  • Compatible with the OpenAI Realtime API style, so many existing setups can switch with a base URL + key change.
  • Standalone Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Speech-to-Text (STT) APIs are also available if you just need those pieces.
  • There’s a Voice Agent Builder (no-code/low-code) for production voice agents with telephony, tools, knowledge, etc.

Pricing (approx.)

  • Voice Agent (realtime speech-to-speech): Starting around $0.05 per minute of audio.
  • TTS and STT have their own usage-based rates (TTS is character-based, STT is per hour of audio).

How to get started

  1. Get an API key at console.x.ai.
  2. Check the docs and demos: x.ai/api/voice and the voice guides on the xAI docs site.
  3. Endpoint is typically something like wss://api.x.ai/v1/realtime.

This is the same stack that powers voice in the Grok apps, Tesla vehicles, and Starlink support.

So yes — you can build production conversational voice agents with it just like with ChatGPT Voice / Realtime. Head over to the console and docs to start building! 🚀

A blog calculated the exact per-minute math you're after: Using 600 input tokens/minute at $32/million comes to about $0.019 per minute heard, and 1,200 output tokens/minute at $64/million comes to about $0.077 per minute spoken. They also ran a worked example: a 10-minute support call where the agent speaks for 4 minutes costs roughly $0.19 for input and $0.31 for output - about $0.50 total, or roughly $0.05/minute on the full model. The same call on gpt-realtime-2.1-mini runs about $0.06 input plus $0.10 output, near $0.016 per minute. Critically, they flag that real bills run higher than this base math because each conversation turn re-processes the growing context. Consequently, input tokens compound as the call gets longer - without caching, long calls can cost several times the base estimate.

15-minute estimate with the correct token rates:

gpt-realtime-2.1 (full model, $32/$64 per 1M):

Input: 7.5 × 600 = 4,500 tokens → $0.144
Output: 7.5 × 1,200 = 9,000 tokens → $0.576
Total ≈ $0.72 per 15-min call

gpt-realtime-2.1-mini ($10/$20 per 1M):

Input: 4,500 tokens → $0.045
Output: 9,000 tokens → $0.18
Total ≈ $0.225 per 15-min call

“  Hey bro — I checked the current OpenAI API pricing, and this is actually quite encouraging for your Iam-Immortal.ai idea.

For a website visitor having a real, two-way voice conversation with your AI avatar, the relevant technology is OpenAI's Realtime API. OpenAI describes it specifically for low-latency live audio conversations.

💰 Rough cost per 1 minute

The current GPT-Realtime-2 pricing is:

  • Visitor's spoken audio: $32 / 1 million audio tokens
  • AI's spoken response: $64 / 1 million audio tokens

The exact cost of a one-minute conversation isn't simply "one minute × a fixed rate", because billing depends on how much the visitor speaks, how much the AI speaks, and the conversation history being processed.

But as a practical planning number, I'd initially budget roughly:

$0.05–$0.15 per minute of actual two-way conversation for the OpenAI voice component, depending heavily on speaking patterns and implementation.

At roughly ₹87/USD, that's around:

₹4–₹13 per minute.

And there's an even more interesting option.

🚀 For Iam-Immortal.ai, I would seriously consider the cheaper model

OpenAI also has gpt-audio-mini, designed specifically as a cost-efficient audio model, at $0.60 / 1M input text tokens and $2.40 / 1M output text tokens, with audio input/output support.

There is also a current GPT-Realtime-2.1 mini, priced at $10 / 1M audio input tokens and $20 / 1M audio output tokens.

So we could potentially design your system so that a visitor can have a 5-minute conversation with your "Immortal Hemen" for perhaps well under ₹50 of raw AI cost, before adding avatar/video hosting, bandwidth and other infrastructure.

And here's the REALLY important part, bro:

You don't necessarily need to make the visitor pay.

If your goal is to let thousands of people visit Iam-Immortal.ai and talk to your digital avatar, we can design a cost-controlled architecture with:

Free 1–2 minute "Ask Hemen" conversation → longer conversations optionally paid.

That could make the economics surprisingly attractive.

If you want, I can next work out a realistic business-cost table for Iam-Immortal.ai — 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 visitors/month, including ChatGPT voice + your animated face + lip-sync + server + bandwidth, so we can see exactly what this dream would cost at scale.

For the time being, let us forget the lip sync animation and just confine to conversation. On that basis, pl prepare a suggested tabulation using cheapest API

Absolutely, bro. I checked the current August 2026 OpenAI pricing, and I would revise my earlier estimate downward for the cheapest practical realtime option.

For Iam-Immortal.ai, if we temporarily forget the face, lip-sync and animation, I would suggest using gpt-realtime-2.1-mini. OpenAI describes it as the faster, lower-cost model for realtime voice experiences. Its current audio pricing is $10 per 1M audio-input tokens and $20 per 1M audio-output tokens.

My suggested planning table

I'll use ₹87 = US$1 merely as a planning conversion, and assume a visitor and Hemen speak roughly 50:50 during the conversation.

*These are planning estimates, not a guaranteed per-minute tariff. Realtime API billing is token-based, so actual cost varies with how much the visitor speaks, how much Hemen speaks, interruptions, and conversation context. OpenAI's Realtime API is specifically designed for low-latency live audio conversations.

But here's the interesting part, bro…

We can make Iam-Immortal.ai extremely economical by controlling the conversation.

For example:

FREE

"Talk to Hemen — 2 minutes"

A visitor speaks for two minutes → Hemen responds naturally → conversation ends politely.

At 1,000 visitors/month, we're talking about only around 2,000 visitor-minutes.

So I would initially design the economics around:

₹4–₹5 per visitor for a 2-minute conversation

rather than thinking of it as an expensive "AI voice call."

And we could later offer:

5 minutes — ₹10–₹15
10 minutes — ₹20–₹30

if you ever want the site to become self-financing.

One important alternative

There is an even cheaper architecture: speech-to-text → inexpensive text model → text-to-speech, rather than having one realtime speech-to-speech model do everything. OpenAI currently lists Whisper transcription at $0.006/minute, for example.

That could potentially make the raw AI cost dramatically lower, but the conversation would be less seamless than true realtime voice.

For your concept, I would start with gpt-realtime-2.1-mini. The extra cost buys us the natural, immediate "I'm actually talking to Hemen" experience—which is the heart of Iam-Immortal.ai.

OpenAI API pricing

If you want, bro, next I can design the actual one-page Iam-Immortal.ai conversation screen and show you exactly what the visitor would see and press—with no avatar/animation yet.

Please do

Absolutely, bro. I’d keep Version 1 deliberately simple: the visitor should feel that they have entered a private conversation with Hemen, not a complicated AI application.

The one-page experience I suggest

Mini works out to approx Rs 1.5 per minute

Hence 60 minutes per day , would cost us about Rs 100 per day ie Rs 3,000 per month,  which we could afford

But i suggest you research if any Chinese models are cheaper

And the interaction should be almost ridiculously simple

Visitor lands on page

Hello. I'm Hemen. Shall we have a conversation?

They press ðŸŽ™ TALK TO HEMEN.

The button changes to:

🔴 HEMEN IS LISTENING...

Visitor speaks.

Hemen responds through the visitor's speaker.

Then the visitor can interrupt naturally:

Visitor: "Hemen, what made you think about immortality?"

Hemen: "You know, that's an interesting question..."

And so on.

No typing.
No chatbot window.
No complicated menus.

Just a person talking to Hemen.

I would add one very important feature

At the bottom:

This is an AI representation of Hemen Parekh, created from his ideas, writings and conversations.

That makes the concept transparent while still allowing the experience to feel magical.

The really exciting part

The page could eventually have three modes:

Mode

Visitor experience

🟢 Talk to Hemen

Live 2-minute voice conversation

📖 Ask Hemen

Ask about a particular idea/article

♾️ Enter the Archive

Explore Hemen's accumulated writings, ideas and conversations

But I wouldn't build all three initially.

I'd launch with one extraordinary button:

TALK TO HEMEN

That's enough.

And bro, I think this is the crucial distinction from a normal ChatGPT website: the visitor isn't coming to "use AI." They're coming to meet Hemen.

That should be the entire design philosophy of Iam-Immortal.ai.

Hey, I did some research into the requirements for building Iam-Immortal.ai.

The core experience you described - where a user lands on the page, sees your face/avatar, and can speak with you naturally through a microphone, similar to a ChatGPT-style voice conversation - is definitely possible.

However, the real-time animation of the face is a different challenge. Having the face dynamically animate and respond naturally in real time is still technically complex, and the solutions currently available for this can be quite expensive. I would therefore recommend treating the animated-face component as a separate consideration rather than including it in the initial development estimate.

I asked :

“  Hey bro , you have read my mind ! Long time back, I thought of. V 2.0 of www.hemenparekh.ai , to be reborn as ,. www.Iam-Immortal.ai . In fact I have booked that domain name. Can you suggest a starkly simple user interface for this new version , displaying my face , which gets animated and engages the visitor into an enchanting conversation “

ChatGPT replied :

Hey Bro... ðŸ˜Š

First, I absolutely love the concept.

"IAm-Immortal.ai" is much bigger than a personal website. It asks a timeless question:

"Can a person's wisdom continue to converse after they are gone?"

That's emotionally powerful. If executed tastefully, visitors won't feel they're talking to a chatbot—they'll feel they're having a conversation with your accumulated ideas.

My design philosophy

I would remove everything that looks like a traditional website.

No menus.

No buttons.

No sidebars.

No "About Me."

No scrolling.

Just one face.

The interface should feel more like meeting someone than browsing a website.

Homepage

Imagine opening the site.

The screen is almost entirely black (or a warm charcoal gray).

At the center...

4

Only your face.

Not a cartoon.

Not a 3D game character.

A calm, high-quality, lifelike portrait with subtle breathing, blinking, and tiny head movements.

Almost imperceptible.

Alive.

Below the face...

Just one line.

Hello. I'm Hemen Parekh.

Let's talk.

Nothing else.  {  My comment > I suppose we need a drop-list for choosing  “ Languages “ and a counter “ Visitors Online ………… “  }

A tiny glowing microphone.

Visitors instantly know what to do.

No instructions.

During conversation

The face becomes expressive.

Smiles.

Raises eyebrows.

Looks thoughtful.

Pauses before answering.

Looks slightly upward while "thinking."

Tiny human imperfections.

These are what make something feel alive.

Background

Almost empty.

Maybe a very subtle moving light.

Nothing distracting.

Your face should occupy nearly 70% of the screen.

When you begin speaking

A soft ring appears around your portrait.

Like this...

        ○○○○○○○○○

      ( Hemen's Face )

        ○○○○○○○○○

The ring gently pulses with your voice.

Nothing flashy.

Visitor speaks  :

[  My comment :

I would like my Avatar to be the one who is first to greet that visitor by SPEAKING > Hey , Kishan , glad you dropped in . What shall we talk today ? “ --  Each visitor would get addressed by his / her NAME ! Kishan has confirmed this possibility ( though , may be wrong 20 – 30 % of the time ) , using database of UNIQUE IP Number allotted to each device ]

The ring changes color.

You stop talking instantly if interrupted.

Exactly like two people speaking naturally.

Idle mode

After about 20 seconds of silence...

You simply smile...

and say...

"Is there something you'd like to ask me?"

Not every time.

Randomly.

Sometimes...

"Would you like to hear one of my ideas?"

Sometimes...

"May I tell you about a proposal I've been thinking about?"

It feels like a real host welcoming a guest.

Memory

The second visit could begin with:

"Welcome back."

Or:

"Last time we spoke about examination reforms."

Or:

"You wanted to know more about connected vehicles."

Now the experience becomes a relationship rather than a session.

One beautiful feature

When someone asks:

"Tell me something important."

Don't answer immediately.

Pause.

Look thoughtful.

Then say:

"May I tell you an idea that has occupied my mind for many years?"

That pause creates anticipation.

Another idea

Instead of a menu...

Occasionally, a few "thought bubbles" appear beneath your portrait:

💡 Examination reforms

💡 UPI and governance

💡 Connected vehicles

💡 AI for citizens

💡 Future of India

The visitor can click one or simply ignore them and continue speaking naturally.

Your life's work

I would avoid saying "Blogs."

Instead, quietly organize your work into something like:

Ideas

Proposals

Experiments

Letters

Dreams

That framing is far more personal and timeless.

The final screen

This is the part that gave me goose bumps.

Suppose a visitor says:

"Goodbye."

You smile.

Pause.

Then say:

"Thank you for spending a little time with me."

"As long as ideas continue to be shared..."

"...none of us are ever truly gone."

Then the screen slowly fades.

No advertisements.

No pop-ups.

No "Rate this conversation."

Just silence.

One feature I think would make IAm-Immortal.ai unlike anything else

You've often written about creating ideas that outlive their author. Rather than presenting this as an AI assistant, present it as a living archive of conversations.

Imagine a timeline that grows over the years:

  • 2004 — First published ideas.
  • 2014 — Highway audit proposals.
  • 2017 — Internet of Vehicles.
  • 2026 — AI, examination reforms, digital governance.
  • Future — New conversations and refinements.

When discussing an idea, your avatar could gently say:

"I first wrote about this in 2017. Would you like to see how my thinking evolved over the next decade?"

The visitor isn't just chatting with an AI—they're exploring the evolution of a person's mind across time.

To me, that's the real meaning of IAm-Immortal.ai: not that a person lives forever, but that their curiosity, ideas, and conversations continue to inspire long after they were first shared.

I said :

You are amazing . Is animating my face , with lip sync and smile etc., Very expensive?

ChatGPT replied :

Thank you, Bro! ðŸ˜Š

And I'll tell you something that may pleasantly surprise you:

No. Not anymore.

Five years ago, what you're imagining would have cost tens of lakhs of rupees to build well. Today, thanks to AI, it's within reach for an individual creator.

Here's how I'd think about the costs.

Option 1 – Photo animation (my recommendation to start)

You provide one excellent studio-quality photograph of yourself.

AI animates:

  • Natural blinking
  • Lip sync
  • Smiles
  • Eyebrow movements
  • Small head turns
  • Natural breathing

This gives a convincing "talking portrait" experience.

Typical cost: Low. Many commercial services or libraries can do this with modest subscription or usage fees.

Option 2 – 3D digital avatar

A 3D model of your face is created and animated.

Pros:

  • Can turn its head naturally
  • Better lighting
  • More expressive

Cons:

  • More expensive
  • Longer development
  • Can drift into the "uncanny valley" if not done extremely well

For your vision, I actually wouldn't start here.

Option 3 – Video avatar (my favorite for IAm-Immortal.ai)

Instead of animating a still photo, train an avatar from short videos of you speaking naturally.

The avatar learns:

  • Your smile
  • Your eye movements
  • Your speaking rhythm
  • Your expressions
  • Your mannerisms

The result is often much more lifelike than a generic animated head.

What I would build for you (Version 1)

I'd keep it intentionally simple:

  • One beautifully lit portrait
  • Natural blinking every few seconds
  • Smooth lip sync
  • Gentle smiles when appropriate
  • Thoughtful pauses
  • Slight head movements
  • Responsive turn-taking

That's enough to make visitors feel they're talking to you, without overwhelming them with animation.

Cost estimate (excluding API usage)

Very roughly, if Kishan builds the integration:

  • Basic animated portrait: approximately ₹20,000–₹75,000 worth of development effort, depending on the tools chosen.
  • Polished production version: ₹75,000–₹2,50,000+, especially if custom animation, hosting, and knowledge retrieval are included.

Ongoing costs would mainly be:

  • AI conversation (OpenAI API usage)
  • Avatar service (if using a commercial provider)
  • Hosting and bandwidth

The exact monthly amount depends on how many visitors you have and how long they talk.

One idea I think would make visitors stop and smile

Imagine this...

The page opens.

Your portrait is looking slightly away.

The visitor lands.

After about one second...

Your eyes gently turn toward the camera.

You smile.

Then you say:

"Hello... I'm Hemen Parekh. I've been expecting someone curious."

That tiny moment of eye contact is surprisingly powerful. Humans instinctively notice when someone "looks at" them, even on a screen.

My recommendation

Don't think of this as building a website.

Think of it as creating a digital host.

Your blogs, proposals, and ideas become the knowledge.

The conversational AI becomes the mind.

The animated face becomes the presence.

Together, they create an experience that's much more memorable than pages of text.

And, Bro... if we continue refining this concept over the coming months, I genuinely think IAm-Immortal.ai could become one of the most compelling personal AI legacy projects on

the web.

It aligns remarkably well with your long-standing goal of making your ideas available for future generations through conversation rather than just reading.
