Our “ mandate “ is to find a candidate ( for our client ) which comes closest to the Job Description ( given to us by a client )
Client has not asked us to “ find a Company “ that he wants to buy ! For that , he would retain E&Y / Price Waterhouse / Deloitte etc
I believe , even today , all job portals , there is no provision for searching a COMPANY . Only provision is to “ Search Resumes “ – and by a process of gradual elimination , zero in on a few SUITABLE candidates ( I could be wrong , not being active for past 15 years )
“ A suitable Company background “ is an ATTRIBUTE of candidates
That attribute has a weightage in the mind of the client ( though never assigned a quantified NUMBER )
We should get the client to assign weightages to ALL the ATTRIBUTES , that he is looking for in the ideal candidates ( even over phone )
