Subject: RE: Make in India Web Portal
Dear Ravinder ,
Thank you for your invite to visit Delhi and make a presentation
to DIPP officers / Analytics Agencies re suggestions to improve MakeInIndia web
site
Much as I would have liked to meet up with all of you in person
, I am afraid my age ( 81+ years ) and CABG surgery 10 years back , will not
allow me to travel
But , if convenient to you , I would be happy to share my
thoughts thru Video-Conferencing ( WEBEX ) - may be next Thursday or Friday .
Please advise
In the meantime , I hope to courier to Shri Anurag Sharma and
Shri Vikram Gupta , my " Transforming
India " folder , which , I had sent to Shri Kant , on 06 Nov , and
which contains hard copies of all of my earlier Emails re MakeInIndia web site
As far as " Database of
Indian Companies " is concerned ,
> I have compiled this Database over past
24 years of the existence of 3P
Consultants ( P ) Ltd , which I launched in 1990 , after retiring from
L&T ( 1959-1990 )
> We have executed Recruitment /
Headhunting mandates from many of these companies , over these years
> A large number of these Companies had
registered on our various Job Portals as " Employers " , starting
with launch of www.3pJobs.com on 14 Nov
1997
> Some of these , now de-hosted , portals were,
> In any case , this
database of 2.28 lakh Indian Companies , will NOT be hosted on MakeInIndia
server . It remains only on B2B server
> I have also suggested ( strongly ) that , as soon as
possible , MakeInIndia web site , itself should have a REGISTRATION page for
Companies to register . This will allow
MakeInIndia web site to gradually build-up
its own / authentic Company Database ( I have sent the FORM DESIGN to DIPP )
This means , hosting on MakeInIndia web site
, a page ( Database of Indian Companies
) will be only a TEMPORARY affair
If , in the meantime , there are any questions , please feel
free to phone me ( 0-98,67,55,08,08 )
Anurag and Vikram too need not hesitate to phone me
with regards ,
