As per one legend, in 1831 , Sir Michael Faraday was giving to Queen Victoria , a demo of generating electricity by rotating a copper wire coil inside a magnetic field. After watching the demo Queen asked :
“ Sir Faraday , what is the use of electricity ? “
Faraday replied , “ Your Majesty , what is the use of a new-born child ? “
