Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,
Hemen Parekh

( A )    WRITE-UP

Open Source Collaboration  :   Building India's AGI Together

Inspired by  > AI Experts Say We’re on the Wrong Path to Achieving Human-Like AI

Extract :

" I believe the next stage in improving trustworthiness will be the replacement of individual AI agents with cooperating teams of agents that continually fact-check each other and try to keep each other honest." ..  Henry Kautz .. Professor of Computer Science, University of Virginia [  henry.kautz@gmail.com | henry.kautz@virginia.edu ]

IndiaAGI extends this concept to include a cooperative community of developers. We invite developers worldwide to contribute to this ground-breaking open-source initiative :

  • Join the Mission :

Access our code from [GitHub link TBD], fork it, and become a part of the IndiaAGI community

  • Expand the AI Team :

Integrate additional AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Specialized Language Models (SLMs) to collaborate with Grok, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others.

     Enhance the Core Process :

Develop and refine consensus-building algorithms, fact-checking mechanisms, solution optimization      techniques, and error detection and correction mechanisms

      Improve the User Experience :

Contribute to the development of a user-friendly and intuitive user interface (UI) and user experience ( UX ) to make IndiaAGI accessible and effective for everyone

  • Develop Specialized Modules :

Create modules for specific domains (e.g., healthcare, education, finance) that leverage the collaborative power of IndiaAGI to address unique challenges

      For ideas, look up :

Ø  IndiaAGI : Evolution

Ø  IndiaAGI - Existential Threat

Ø  IndiaAGI : Bill Analysis Module

Ø  IndiaAGI – Authors Corner

Ø  IndiaAGI : Emulate Emergence

  • Contribute to Ethical Development :

Help us establish and implement ethical guidelines and safeguards for IndiaAGI's development and use, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability

      Earn Recognition :

Contributors will be prominently credited on this page, in our launch story, and in all associated documentation.

The authors reserve the right to request removal of the IndiaAGI credit if a derivative is deemed unethical (e.g., privacy violations), though enforcement is non-binding.

4.     **Contribution Option**:

Contributors may submit modifications via pull requests to the original repository for review and potential integration, with credit given on www.IndiaAGI.ai.

UPLOAD  PROCESS :

( C )  BRANDING  GUIDELINES :   Kishan >  In the above Licence Agreement  , insert appropriate re-wording of GREEN highlighted words shown below

IndiaAGI Branding Guideline for Derivatives (Option B)

1.     Acknowledgment Requirement:

o    All derivative applications (e.g., www.AuthorsCorner.ai) must include a clear statement on their homepage and documentation, e.g., “This application is built on the IndiaAGI open-source framework, originally developed by Hemen Parekh and downloaded from GitHub at [repo link].”

o

o    Suggested placement: Footer or “About” page, with a link to www.IndiaAGI.ai.

o

2.     Naming Convention:

o    Encourage derivatives to reflect their unique value while nodding to IndiaAGI (e.g., “AuthorsCorner powered by IndiaAGI” or “IndiaAGI AuthorsHub”).

o

o    Avoid implying official endorsement unless approved by you/Kishan (e.g., no “Official IndiaAGI App” without consent).

o

o

3.     Credit and Visibility:

o    Developers are encouraged to notify you (hemen.parekh@gmail.com) or Kishan with details: their name, the derivative’s name/URL, and a brief description of modifications.

o

o    IndiaAGI will list these on www.IndiaAGI.ai under a “Community Innovations” section, e.g., “XYZ wrote to us that, by downloading our source code from GitHub and modifying it, XYZ has launched www.AuthorsCorner.ai—a platform for writers.”

o

4.     Quality and Ethics:

o    Derivatives should uphold IndiaAGI’s mission (e.g., humanity-focused collaboration, Indian context) and avoid misuse (e.g., no malicious code).

o

o    You reserve the right to request removal of the IndiaAGI credit if a derivative violates ethical standards (e.g., privacy breaches), though enforcement relies on community pressure.

o

5.     Promotion:

o    Encourage derivatives to share back improvements via pull requests (Option A), fostering a two-way ecosystem.

o

o    IndiaAGI may feature standout derivatives on its homepage or social media, boosting visibility for contributors.

( D )   COUNTER :

Tracking Downloads and Visibility

  • Can We Know Who and How Many Download?:
  •
    • Direct Tracking: GitHub doesn’t natively reveal individual downloader identities (e.g., IP addresses) due to privacy policies, but it tracks public clone counts via the repo’s traffic graph (accessible to repo admins). This shows total downloads/clones over time (e.g., 500 clones in a month).
    •
    • Indirect Insight: You can enable GitHub Insights (if the repo is public) to see approximate visitor numbers, referrers, and popular content, but not specific users.
    •
    • Advanced TrackingAdd a custom script (e.g., via a download button) to log anonymous usage stats (e.g., country, timestamp), compliant with data laws (e.g., India’s 2023 Act), though this requires user consent.
  •
  • Displaying Numbers on Homepage:
  •
    • Yes, you can pull clone/visitor data via GitHub’s API and display it dynamically on www.IndiaAGI.ai (e.g., “Downloaded by 1,234 developers worldwide”). This boosts credibility, as seen with projects like TensorFlow.
    •
    • Caveat: Numbers might inflate if bots or repeated clones are counted—filter for unique downloads if possible.
