Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

FW: Quick Favor – Can You Share This with a Few People on Your Team?

 Nirmit,

On this project ( personal SaaS portal project of Kishan ), I have occasionally guided Kishan

In context of his following request , is it possible for him ( and me ) to visit 3P office sometime next week and have a face-to-face discussion with a couple of our Consultants ( including Prashant ) ?

If so , Indicate their convenience

Hi Uncle,

Hope you're doing well! As you already know, I’m working on an AI-powered tool to help executive search teams find, engage, and manage high-quality candidates more efficiently — with a full solution that includes a candidate database, ATS, and the ability to generate reports for clients. Before building further, I’d love to gather insights from people actually doing this work every day.

Would you mind forwarding the message below to 2–3 team members or colleagues? Their feedback — even in short form — would be incredibly valuable.

Here are a few questions I’d love your perspective on:

1.      Can you walk me through your workflow for filling a tough executive role — from receiving the JD to delivering shortlisted candidates?

2.      What’s the most frustrating part of the process — the one thing you wish could be handled effortlessly?

3.      Do you receive a set of CVs from the client to shortlist candidates from, or do you always go to platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, etc., to find candidates?

4.      Once you’ve identified potential candidates, how do you qualify them before outreach?

5.      How do you track candidate progress? (e.g. who’s been contacted, replied, interviewed, rejected)

6.      Do you use a CRM or ATS? What’s great or broken about it for your workflow?

7.      How do you currently reach out to candidates — do you send sequences, manual emails, LinkedIn messages?

8.      If a system could provide you with a list of high-potential candidates based solely on a job description in natural language—without using additional filters, keywords, or other criteria—sourced from over 1 billion professionals worldwide, what would the results need to include for you to trust and use them?

9.      Have you tried AI or automation in your work? What was promising or disappointing?

10.  On average, how much time do you spend on each assignment? If possible, could you provide a breakdown of how much time you spend on sourcing, interviewing, candidate outreach, etc.?

Short answers are totally fine. Thank you so much for taking the time — your input will help shape something truly useful.

Thanks again for helping me with this!

Kishan
