Dear Shri Bardhan :
I read with interest , your article ( Defusing The Jobs Time Bomb ) , in Times of India ( 30
Oct )
At one place you write :
“ In fact, the same businessmen in
the formal sector may be paid the subsidies, but now for hiring more people
rather than machines
A cap may be imposed on the wage subsidy
on any particular job so that the incentive remains on hiring more people than
on paying large salaries to particular employees
Similarly , possible scams in the form
of fake payrolls may be avoided with appropriate biometric identification “
I fully support your views , as you would notice from
my following blogs ( - each sent as email to Union Cabinet / Policy Makers ) :
Create
Wealth to Create Jobs ( - last part talks about encouraging more hiring )
And , as far as eliminating “ Fake Payrolls “ through “ Biometric
Identification “ is concerned ,
it is a simple matter as described in :
From BAD to
MAD
I would be happy to know what you think about my
suggestions
With Regards,
