Dear Shri Fadnavis-ji :
Referring to the Make
in India week ,today's Hindustan Times- Metro, ( "
State targets Rs 4 lakh cr inflow " ) , quotes you as follows :
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He said that the industries department has been
in deliberations with leading companies from various sectors across the globe
for the past three months and the government’s
endeavour will be to attract serious investors before signing MOUs.
He said the government’s thrust would also be
on the actual translation of the investments proposed.
The last big-bang announcement from the state
government came in 2015, when it bagged Taiwanese electronics manufacturing
giant Foxconn’s $5 billion deal to set up a plant here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have no doubt that the tremendous effort put
in by, both the Maharashtra Government and the DIPP , will convince the business delegations from 68 countries to locate their projects in Maharashtra
Having been convinced ,and having signed an
MOU, they would want to get in touch with the
Companies located in Maharashtra - whether it
is for buying-selling/setting-up Joint Ventures / Technical Collaborations etc
They would want to send their messages ( "
We are interested in talking to you " ), to :
* 62,039 Indian Companies , located in 49 Cities of Maharashtra ( see
ATTACHMENT )
You may want to make them aware that they can
send their messages ( within a matter of minutes and with just a few clicks of
the mouse ) , from :
On our page " Ease of Doing
Business " they will also get to read your ONE YEAR old invitation ( 10
Feb 2015 ), which reads as follows :

Chief Minister : Just one email will be enough to set up industry
Just one email to the
industries' corporation will be enough for an industrialist to set up a unit in
Maharashtra , claimed Chief Minister , Devendra
Fadnavis on Monday
Participating in the investors' summit in the city , Fadnavis said ,
" Only one email will be enough for investors to earn the support of the government machinery . We will extend speedy support to them , as soon as they write to us about their plans "
According to a senior bureaucrat , an email sent by an entrepreneur will be treated as an investment proposal and considered on priority
" This is on the lines of Gujarat where the progress on each proposal and inquiry is monitored on a day-to-day basis " , he said
Fadnavis said these initiatives were mainly to improve the " Ease - of - doing - Business " index of the country which mattered the most for global investors
At present , investors have to take only 25 permissions as against 76 earlier , to start manufacturing units in the industrial areas of the State , Fadnavis said
" The State has earmarked a 600 square km area around the new airport in Navi Mumbai to set up new townships with IT parks and other industries
On the lines of Bandra-Kurla Complex , we are developing financial centers in the region besides enhancing the standards of basic amenities in cities like Nagpur and Pune to ensure maximum investments " , he added
