Dear MakeInIndia / InvestIndia Teams :
Mr Onno Ruhl ( World Bank Country Director for India ) says :
" It could take India about three years to improve
its ranking on World Bank's Ease of Doing Business list..... If doing business
becomes easier , it would naturally boost the Make In India initiative that
seeks to promote India as an investment hub "
( see attachment )
I believe this process can be expedited if we can get Foreign
Investors to start using , just uploaded page on B2B web site , viz:
How can we get Foreign Investors to use this medium / this vehicle
, to get their messages across to Team India
?
This can be done if visitors to Make In India and Invest India
web sites are made aware of B2B , by uploading page ,
" Find Indian
Partners "
This ONE HOUR exercise need not wait revamping of these web sites
Awaiting to hear from you soon ,
with regards,

Dear MakeinIndia Team :
Just came across following News Report
At one place , Shri Atul
Chaturvedi says :
"They all have common interest, which is to attract investments and compete with each other to get new
businesses," he said.
B2B is designed to bring this about thru its feature
" Email
Alerts "

Govt's Ease of Doing Biz rankings to be ready
by Sept
( Source : Times of India / 19
May 2015 )
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHENNAI:
The Union government will come out with its state-wise rankings on ease of
doing business to facilitate investors in choosing the right
location to set up business.
The first set of rankings is expected by
September, senior government officials said.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has identified 98 different parameters as components for computing the ease of doing business index.
These 98 components have been communicated to
state governments who have been asked to furnish details on them by end May or
early June, said Atul Chaturvedi, joint secretary of DIPP.
The DIPP is attached to the commerce ministry.
The parameters include statutory clearances like trade licenses, along with
land availability and water supply linkages, among others.
"We will indentify a consultant by June who will compile all the data from states and come out with rankings," he said.
"The consultant will be a serious player
and not a fly-by-night person and the rankings will have credibility. The first
set of rankings should be out by September hopefully."
All states, regardless of political
affiliations, have welcomed the government's move to come out with rankings and
have extended their cooperation, he said.
"They all have common interest, which is to attract investments and compete with each other to get new
businesses," he said.
The government, he said, was also planning to appoint a nodal officer in each ministry for investor facilitation.
"We are also seeking support from the
state government to set up nodal officers at local levels," he said. The
idea of appointing nodal officers is to root out corruption.
At present, investors engage consultants to prospect ideal locations as there is no central index which captures the competitiveness of each state to attract investments.

Dear Friends ,
How to make " Make in India " happen
Prof Amitava Chattopadhyay writes in this article ( in today's
Economic Times ) :
> A second issue is that , to Make in India , state governments need to collaborate with the
Central Government
This is easier said than done .
Learned Professor could have added :
> The easiest - and surest - way to make the States to
collaborate with the Centre , is to motivate them to compete with
one another for attracting foreign investments to their
respective States
I believe , the perfect instruments ( for inducing such healthy
competition ) are B2B pages ,
> Expedite
My Project ( expected to be uploaded on 23rd
May )
> DIPP
Admin Page ( to which access may be granted to the Industry Ministers of
all the States )
I urge you once again to upload page " FIND
INDIAN PARTNERS " on MakeinIdia
/ InvestIndia , web sites
with regards ,

PS :
As mentioned earlier , this ( uploading ) is a ONE HOUR job - and , it is a reversible
decision , if ever desired

Dear Friends ,
On 23rd May 2015 , B2B web site will celebrate its
FIRST ANNIVERSARY
On that day , we plan to launch a new page / feature called
, " Expedite My
Project " , as per attachment
In months and years to come , I hope this feature will
contribute towards raising India's rank in ,
I would be happy to incorporate your suggestions , if any

Dear Friends ,
There are two attachments to this mail , viz;
> NITI Aayog to
map investor interest ( write-up appearing in today's Hindustan Times )
> ADMIN page for MakeInIndia web
site ( Design of the ADMIN page for DIPP on B2B
web site / attached to my email dt 04
Nov 2014 )
I realize that not every Foreign Company will send out its
" Interested in a Joint Venture " message thru B2B web
site ,
but , in respect of those that do , B2B ADMIN page will capture full details
And these fine-tuned , automatically compiled , dynamic , INTEREST
- ANALYTICS will enable DIPP to provide to NITI Aayog those precise INPUTS in respect of " Investor Interest " that Hon Prime
Minister seeks !
I leave it to you to guess
, as to what extent , " FIND INDIAN PARTNER
" page ( on InvestIndia web site -
and possibly on " MakeInIndia
" web site as well ) , will answer NITI Aayog's " exercise aimed to :
> quick resolution of problems
faced by investors
>
projecting
investment estimates
>
creating a synergy between different stakeholders
On
the other hand , you may ask :
"
Why guess ? Why not upload that page ( FIND
INDIAN PARTNERS ) and find out for sure ?
After all , uploading will take no more than ONE
HOUR and removing it at any time in future , will take
FIVE MINUTES ! "

regards,

Dear MakeInIndia
Team ,
If you can find time to respond at 11;09 PM , then there can be
no doubt that India has a bright future !
Many thanks
I presume , you propose exchange of links between B2B and InvestIndia web sites
If so , this will prove to be a good beginning of an
ever-deepening relationship between our sites to secure greater investments
into India
Before lunch today , I hope to put-up on all pages of B2B ,
links to InvestIndia ( next to the existing link to MakeInIndia web site )
But,
Whereas , a link to InvestIndia from B2B , does not require a
visitor to guess/wonder what that link is all about and what can he expect to
find if he were to click on that link ,
It is altogether a different matter when a visitor of
InvestIndia , sees a link called " B2BmessageBlaster "
He would wonder :
" What is this link all
about ? "
Should he click and get transferred to the Home Page of B2B , he will understand that he
can send out messages to 2.29 lakh Indian Companies, from B2B
But B2B home page does NOT emphatically bring
out that the visiting Foreign Executive can use B2B , to send out " We are interested in forming a Joint Venture with You
" type of messages to thousands of potential Indian partners
On one of your pages , you describe as follows , one of the IMPORTANT
purposes of your web site :
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JOINT VENTURE OPPORTUNITIES
FOR INDIAN COMPANIES
Invest India, as a part of its investment facilitation service to foreign investors, also assists
them in finding partners based in India
on the basis of requests received.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This
purpose is forcefully highlighted in the page write-up , " Find Indian Partners " sent
to you yesterday, which reads :
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHY
VISIT B2B WEB SITE ?
Dear
Foreign Investor :
*
Having studied details about investment opportunities in 25 Industry
Sectors listed on this site , you may want to search
/ contact suitable
Indian Companies , for :
> Joint Manufacturing Ventures
/ Licensing of Technology
*
You can search / shortlist and send out your messages , to
such Indian Companies , using online messaging service of :
www.B2BmessageBlaster.com
( B2B )
*
If
> your message to those potential Indian Partners, is :
" Inviting INDIAN
COMPANIES for Technical Collaboration / Joint Venture "
then ,
> apart from forwarding your message to the
Indian Companies selected by
* Officers
of DIPP ( Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion )
* Concerned officers of the relevant State Governments ( Chief Minister /
Industry Minister /
Industry Secretary..etc )
*
Upon receipt of these " Email Alerts
" , these officers will get in touch
with you , to facilitate speedy setting up of your project
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Such
an EXPLICIT page
( and not a mere hyperlink ) , will not only motivate a Foreign Visitor of
InvestIndia to visit B2B , but make him realize that sending out such " Interest Messages " from B2B , will set
in motion , a CHAIN REACTION among
the Indian Facilitators ( both Central and State ) , ensuring speedy
implementation of his project
How
all of this will happen is explained on following B2B pages :
I
urge you to consider my request for a PAGE ( Find Indian Partners ) - and
not a mere hyperlink - on InvestIndia web site
Such
a " Synergy of Purpose " will
yield unprecedented dialogue between ,
>
Foreign Investors
>
Potential Indian Partner Companies
>
DIPP / State Government Officers
>
FICCI
And
unleash a fierce - but healthy - competition among the States
If
there are any questions , do not hesitate to phone me ( 0 - 98,67,55,08,08 )
with
regards,
hemen
