read about your development of Zinc-Air Battery , through following news
reports :

IIT-M Researchers Develop Made-in-India EV Batteries 3 Times Cheaper Than Li-ion Cells
Apart from other numerous advantages of Zn-Air battery, what excited me most was the intriguing reference to “ Mechanically Rechargeable “ feature
How exactly ?
Like a stationary Bicycle ( on a stand )- and connected to a Electric Generator - where a person can just keep “ pedalling “ to produce an electric current, which, in turn, will charge the “ Zn Cassette “ ?
If yes, then you may be heralding a REVOLUTION of sorts !
Some 30 years ago, when Sam Pitroda introduced the concept of PCO ( Public Call Office ) – for millions of Indians who could not get / afford a telephone Landline at their homes – a MILLION PCOS sprung up on footpaths of every town in the country
If Zn-Air Cassette can be recharged by a “ pedalling bicycle “ then I imagine a million unemployed youth can set themselves up as SELF EMPLOYED , and roam the streets of India, shouting :
“ BATTERY RECHARGE WALA “ !
I anxiously await your clarification / comments on what I

Details of zinc-air battery
Mechanically rechargeable zinc-air battery
specifications
Total energy of battery built in our lab: 2.6
kWh
Total power: 40 W continuous (Work in progress
to improve power)
Cell level specific energy: 400 Wh/kg
Mechanical recharging time: 5 minutes
Safety: Extremely safe. No scope for fire
accidents
Lab scale cost: $ 100 per kWh
Lifetime: Need rigorous testing for estimation.

Process of mechanical recharging: Zinc anodes
will be available as plates which will be manually inserted in the battery.
During discharge, zinc will be converted to zinc oxide. Upon completion of
discharge, zinc oxide will be recovered from the battery and fresh zinc plates
will be manually inserted. This process will take a maximum of 5 minutes to
mechanically recharge an electric 2-wheeler battery.
Note: We have developed our own recharging
station where we convert zinc oxide collected from battery back to zinc plates
using renewable energy. This recharging stations can be installed anywhere like
petrol bunks and even layman can operate the recharging station with some basic
training. We envisage that the public find the business of installing
recharging stations and providing zinc plates (fuel) to EVs to be economical
which will be the key aspect for wide adoption of zinc-air technology.
We have future plans to scale-up the battery to
100 kWh by 2024.
