Ever

Ministers , ( including FM / PM ) / MPs / MLAs / Secretaries / Business Leaders
/ Economists / Editors / TV Anchors / ASSOCHAM / FICCI / CII etc
But
one person who wrote back ( 3 / 4 times ) was Amitabh
Kant - Secretary , DIPP ( now, CEO of NITI Aayog ), who wrote as follows :
{
I cannot find his email , in which he invited me to visit Delhi to give a talk
to all senior officers of DIPP }

Suggestions of an ordinary
citizen :
Dear Hemenji
My apologies for Noshirji
Kapadia's age being attributed to you. Secondly, going by your mental capacity
you are just 38, not 83.
May your cerebral brilliance continue
to serve national causes. My awe and respect for your work make me
spontaneously use expressions which may give a tinge of an exaggeration but
they are far from flattery. Your sharing is full of meat, no flab, to the
point, without any long-winding descriptions or platitudes, most suited for our
time-starved generation.
I would love to see you on
various consultative bodies, being invited by the chambers of commerce &
industries and, yes, by the TED Talks forum also. I earnestly pray for these things
to happen because I believe in the value of your well-thought-out implementable
suggestions, backed with facts & figures.
Just for my personal
information, could you please clarify if you have been contacted or invited by
any of the government departments/officials after going through your
suggestions? I expect this to happen because you send them to the decision
makers and if they help them perform better and show results, the credit goes
to them directly.
I have noted your inputs for
action by the recipients of these emails and will certainly share them too for
maximizing the effect.
Best wishes and warm regards =
Gurudatt

Dear Gurudatta,
Many thanks for these
flattering words ( which , I don't deserve ) and for forwarding these links to
our ex-colleagues from L&T , and to your contacts
I hope , in turn , they would
share those links with their friends / contacts and also request them to do
likewise
May be , some of them may even
improve upon my suggestions and email those improved suggestions to the
Ministers / Secretaries , listed in the attachment
If any one wants to have Email
IDs of State Chief Ministers / MPs / MLAs etc , please write to me and I will
send those databases
Of course , you can also use
page , " Influence Policy Makers " from ,
One last request :
Can you pl roll back my age by
3 years ? I will complete 83 by this month end ! I want to feel younger !

Subject: Fw: SUGGESTIONS OF AN ORDINARY CITIZEN
Dear
friends,
Forwarded
here is an amazing collection of well thought out actionable suggestions made
by the 86 year young, Mr.Hemen C. Parekh, a forme high-ranking L&T
officer. I am impressed by his constant analyses of India’s problems, solutions
and direct gains for the nation by implementing them. The objectivity, sans
political dogma, with which Hemenji sees through the national issues is
stunning indeed.
There is
another distinct quality about this great thinker of a reformer is, he is
publicity shy though he hungers for these suggestions to reach the right
individuals, our elected representatives, who are the decision-makers and who
have the power to transform the lives of the Indians. Therefore, he has been
quietly feeding the Central Cabinet Ministers and the CMs with the invaluable
suggestions through emails and blogs/website. I am doubtful if any of them has
cared to even acknowledge or call him for clarifications, let alone for
detailed discussions. Being totally dedicated to the well-being of the country,
Mr.Parekh hasn’t stopped applying his brilliant mind and sharing his
implementable ideas in more and more areas of policy and governance.
I appeal
you to spare some of your precious time to selectively, if not fully, go
through the treasure of his suggestions, links for which are given in his email
forwarded herewith.
Secondly,
I also appeal to you to suggest specific means which we can collectively
use to share these brilliant doable ideas among more individuals & even
non-profit organizations known to us, with a request to them to seek action
from the respective authorities. Of course, follow-up with those who are
responsible for their implementation is also a must, that too, collectively.
Yes,
this mail is sent by me only to those whom I consider movers and shakers of a
new India, in their own little ways. Thank you for your time, patience and
enthusiasm which are most likely to take India a few steps closer to our
collective dreams. Please feel free to contact Hemenji as he has also given his
cell number.
Progress
and Peace be with us all.
Yours warmly = Gurudatt
