Nitin,

In CustomizeResume , on page " Job Suggest " , we are already providing following Search Criteria :

*  IT  /  Non-IT

*  Function ( separate drop-lists based on IT or Non-IT ) - derived values

*  Industry

*  Country / City

*  Designation Level ( 5 levels )- derived values

*  Experience ( Years ) from 0 to 50 years

This means , all of 2.1 million job advts in our database are " searchable " under this criteria

NOTE  :

*  I believe , we are  deriving "FUNCTION-NAMES" , based on Keywords contained in following fields in a Job Advt :

    # Job Description ( Field No 4 )

    # Desired Profile   ( Field No 5 )

    # Keywords         ( Field No 11 )

   Keywords are automatically " Highlighted " and hyperlinked to Wikipedia

*  Based on field for " Experience " ( field no 7 ) , we are arbitrarily assigning , " Designation Levels " ( 5 Levels )

*  Posting Date : Normally given but if not , then assumed one month prior to the " Expiry Date "

   This date will be the basis for the " PERIOD " when job advt is supposed to have got posted

*  To begin with , we may display just simple  BAR CHART  type of graphs , where,

   #  X  axis  will be : " Number of Jobs advertised " or  " Percentage of Total No of Jobs Advertized "

      ( Can we provide to the visitor , an option to choose ? )

   #  Before selecting what to display on Y axis , a visitor must choose

       *  a PERIOD from a drop-list ( From / To  ? ),

       *  a COUNTRY , and CITY ( or entire Country )

   #  Y  axis can be :

      *  Industry ,  or

      *  Function ,  or

      *  Designation Level ,  or

      *  Experience , or

      *  Company Name ( bound to pose problems ! )

Y axis will need to be flexible / expandable , depending upon " Numbers Interval " ( of Job Advts )

As far as X axis is concerned , we may show only 5 vertical bars , for good readability

Then , provide < > signs to open-up and display the NEXT 5 items ( eg : we may 53 Industries / 26 Functions / and dozens of countries / hundreds of cities - all of which just cannot be displayed in ONE screen shot

Of Course , on top of each displayed Graph , we must distinctly mention "

:  You have selected the following :............/ ............../ ............./ .......... / etc  :

We MUST provide the following features / facility for each displayed graph :

*  Share on Social Media sites

*  Email Screen Shot to anyone

*  Download ( copy / paste ? )

However , in any of these cases , the IMAGE must carry following message ( which cannot be deleted ) :

" Courtesy : www.CustomizeResume.com / www.hemenparekh.in " ( both hyperlinks )

Without waiting for any response from the HELP DESK of Watson Analytics , I suggest you start as outlined above

As time goes , we will be able to configure / display , many more types of ANALYTICS

Should you so desire , I would be happy to visit your office for a discussion , anytime next week , after you have developed a FRAME WORK / PRELIMINARY USER INTERFACES

Dear Sir,

We are only succeeded in  uploading  some sample data(excel file) taken from customize resume database (attached sample data excel) on Watson Analytics server. Some sample  graphs are auto generated by Watson Analytics server based on the data which we have uploaded. Currently both data & graphs are on Watson Analytics server.

Also we need to discuss what graphs we need to generate.

You can also check the same by logging in to Watson Analytics server.

We need more time to study & do R & D , how Watson Analytics works?
how it can be integrated with our site?
How do we connect our database with Watson Analytics server?
How to integrate/display Graphs generated on Watson Analytics server with our website?

We are not  be able to estimate time require for R & D.
So it is not possible upload it on 27th .

Regards,

Nitin Ruge

Nitin,

Prashant tells me that you have succeeded in developing graphs ( Pie Chart / Bar Chart / Line Diagrams ), using Watson Analytics ( I presume , graphs take into account the job advts downloaded thru RSS feeds )

Congrats !

There is no need to wait till 27th !  Upload the page ASAP !

Change the Page Title to :

Job  Market  Analytics

This will be a UNIQUE feature , not to be found on any Indian Job Portal

Also . on all pages of www.CustomizeResume.com , add " Visitor Counter " from FeedJIT

Shuklendu / Nitin ,

Although I have no doubt that you will develop / upload on ( or before ) , 27th :

"  Job Market Analysis " ,

it would allow me to sleep well , if I have your confirmation !

Although , from the net , you can download , large number of " Graphing / Charting " software , absolutely free , should you consider it necessary to " Buy / Rent " an API for integration with our web site , please let me know the COST , in the next 2/3 days

Most important thing is to ensure that , for the purpose of graphing , full / latest database of job advts , including jobs downloaded from previous day's RSS feeds , are taken into account

Nitin ,

Thanks

Our next task is to develop / upload , " Job Market analysis " page on www.CustomizeResume.com

If you are unable to make any headway with Watson Analytics , then I suggest you forget about it and write code to enable search / display of GRAPHS / CHARTS , as mentioned in the page write-up , already sent to you as also one article

Target for uploading is my 83rd birthday ( 27 June )

Subject: Job Advt Database

Sachin,

In my yesterday's mail , I had asked you to make available to Prashant , the Job Advt Database from,
www.CustomizeResume.com, which gets built-up through RSS feeds from following job portals :

*  Timesjobs
*  MonsterIndia
*  Naukri
*  Clickjobs

Yesterday , Shuklendu informed me that ,

#  Timesjobs have started removing from the posted job advts , the correct / genuine Email ID of the Companies posting their jobs and replaced these with a fictitious " ram@gmail.com "

#  This has resulted in some 6000 job records ( in our database ) , BAD / WRONG

Hopefully by today evening , Shuklendu will remove from the database , these 6000 BAD records

Simultaneously , he will also STOP further receipts of RSS feed from Timesjobs portal

Once you get a green signal re this , you can give the job advt database to Prashant for his experimentation
