PERSONALIZED AI TUTOR

 Manish ,

Today Kishan is visiting my home to finalize the specifications / functional  requirements for BLOG GENIE  V 2.0 ( Perpetual AI Machine ) . Hopefully , he would complete it by end Feb

Thereafter , I want him to take up the project of “ Personalized AI Tutor ( My-Teacher  V 2.o ) , for which , I have prepared detailed “ Functional Requirements “

In the meantime , in today’s Hindustan Times , I came across the following news report re.: CBSE instructing its schools to “ quickly introduce “ , skill imparting courses for 9th to 12th standards

This, I believe , is an opportunity to be seized by incorporating these “ skill impartation “ into My-Teacher – and do it quickly .

It is almost certain that  others Edtech firms have started working for this. Hence , it is a question of who comes up FIRST with a compelling offer and get the “ First Mover Advantage

How ?

As :

Ø   Searchable Course Material ( for syllabus prescribed for each skill ) ?

Ø   Mock Tests ( MCQ ) ?

Ø   Teacher Generated Tests ?

This will require a face-to-face debate but what is MOST URGENT right now, is to find and download ( from where ? ), the CBSE Syllabus for , a few of these SKILLS ( assuming that CBSE has prescribed such syllabi for each SKILL )

I would appreciate if you could search Online and find out :

Ø   A complete list of the prescribed SKILLS ( that will help us to narrow down , no more than 6 SKILLS , which in our opinion, are most likely to be offered by a great majority of the schools in India )

Ø   A detailed list of TEXT BOOKS – or downloadable text matter – for these 6 SKILLS

It would be nice if you can let me know by FRIDAY , what you have found out ( of course , not at the cost of your daily responsibilities ).

If your search discovers the “ Sources for Syllabi – related course materials “ ( only SOURCES ), then we can decide re actual downloading – and how long that might take

Regards,

Hcp

PS :  We will not touch SKILLS meant for Class 6 to 8 , but only focus on classes 9 , 10 , 11 and 12

CBSE wants students to be trained in AI, IT, retail, refrigeration

Extract :

CBSE has asked its affiliated schools to urgently implement its initiatives and embed skill education into their curriculum without delay to prepare well-rounded and future-ready students

As part of its initiatives for promoting skill education among students of Class 6 to 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked its schools to offer beauty and wellnessair-conditioning and refrigerationapparelInformation Technology (IT), artificial intelligence (AI) among others as skill subjects.

To prepare “well-rounded and future-ready students,” the board has asked its affiliated schools to “urgently” implement the board’s initiatives and embed skill education into their curriculum “without delay”.

“By integrating vocational skills at the school level, CBSE aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, fostering students’ readiness for future challenges and opportunities,” the boards said in a circular.

CBSE is embedding skill (vocational) education as a vital component of the school curriculum in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE), a guideline for the curriculum, teaching practices, and textbooks in Indian schools.

NEP 2020 launched by the central government on July 29, 2020, aims to transform the country’s education system — aligning it with the needs of the future while keeping it “rooted in Indianness”.

Students of classes 6 to 8 can opt for one or more out of 34 modules in an academic session with assessment on the basis of projects at the school level.

AI, IT, coding, financial literacy, beauty and wellness, travel and tourism, pottery, baking, and Kashmiri embroidery are among the 34 modules. The board has also developed a portal to register and certify students who have opted for skill modules.

Students of classes 9 and 10 can choose from 22 skill subjects including retailITbeauty and wellnessapparelmultimedia, and data science.

“If a student fails in any one of the three elective subjects (Science, Mathematics, and Social Science), then it will be replaced by the skill subject (offered as a sixth additional subject) and the result of the class 10 board examination will be computed accordingly,” the board said in the circular.

Students of classes 11 and 12 can choose from 43 skill subjects including bankingmarketinginsuranceair conditioning and refrigerationyoga, and design among others.

A module refers to a particular topic or set of topics and a subject typically refers to a broader area of study that may include multiple modules. The skill subjects offered by CBSE have a weightage of 100 marks and are mapped to a defined job role.

The schools do not have to pay any fee to the board for offering any skill module or skill subject or for downloading any certificate.

Minakshi Kushwaha, principal of Delhi-based private school Birla Vidya Niketan said her school has been following CBSE’s directions since August 2024 when the board asked schools to set up ‘Composite Skill Labs’ to provide training and enhance students’ employment prospects.

All the skill subjects and modules cannot be incorporated by every school.

We are offering various skills subjects including tourism, IT, AI, and Yoga. Through such initiatives, students are exposed to these skills and get an idea about these areas. They can pursue college courses incorporating these skill subjects,” she said

Perpetual AI Machine

 Some R & D with ChatGPT

Hey thanks ; my colleague Kishan had develped a auto-blogging tool . My question is > will Blogger platform permit that tool to post those blogs on it , automatically ?

Blogger, the blogging platform by Google, supports automated posting to some extent, but it imposes certain restrictions to prevent misuse or spam. Here's what you need to consider:

1. Allowed Methods for Automated Posting

  • Blogger API: Google provides a Blogger API that allows developers to automate posting, editing, and managing blogs. Your colleague's tool must integrate with this API to ensure compliance.
  • OAuth 2.0 Authentication: The API requires secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, ensuring only authorized applications can post to your blog.

2. Restrictions and Guidelines

  • No Spam: Automated posts should comply with Google's Content Policy. Posts must not be spammy, misleading, or repetitive.
  • Rate Limits: The API has rate limits on the number of requests per day, which could restrict how frequently the tool can publish posts.
  • Human Oversight: Fully automated tools should allow for some manual oversight, such as reviewing posts before publishing.

3. Implementation Considerations

  • Content Quality: Posts generated by the tool should maintain high quality, as low-quality or repetitive content might trigger spam filters.
  • Scheduling Features: Ensure the tool can schedule posts at intervals to avoid rapid posting, which might violate Blogger's policies.

4. Testing and Verification

  • Use a test blog to verify that the tool works correctly before using it on your primary blog.
  • Regularly check the tool's behavior to ensure it complies with Google's policies.

Final Note

If the auto-blogging tool adheres to Blogger's guidelines and uses the Blogger API properly, it will be permitted to post blogs automatically. Ensure your colleague integrates the necessary compliance features into the tool to avoid potential issues with the platform.

Thanks . Any idea whether www.Personal.ai ( for which I have " Enterprise Membership " ) , would allow such automatic uploads ? Currently , I log in and upload manually

ChatGPT

Personal.ai, as a platform, is designed to let users build and manage their AI memory blocks manually. Whether it allows automated uploads depends on the level of access and customization available to Enterprise Members. Here's what you should know and consider:

1. Official API Availability

  • Check for API Support: Many platforms like Personal.ai offer APIs for enterprise members, allowing them to automate processes such as uploading or managing data.
    • Look for an API section in your Personal.ai dashboard or documentation.
    • If not publicly documented, reach out to their support team to inquire about enterprise-level API access.

2. Custom Features for Enterprise Membership

  • Custom Automation Solutions: Enterprise Membership often includes tailored features or API endpoints not available to general users. Ask Personal.ai if your membership includes access to automation features or if they can enable them for you.

3. OAuth or API Token Integration

  • If they support automation:
    • They might provide OAuth or API tokens for secure integration.
    • Your auto-blogging tool can use these credentials to authenticate and post content programmatically.

4. Rate Limits and Policies

  • Ensure that automated uploads adhere to:
    • Rate Limits: Platforms often cap the number of uploads within a certain timeframe.
    • Content Guidelines: Automated uploads should comply with Personal.ai’s quality standards.

5. Current Manual Workflow Alternative

If Personal.ai does not support automated uploads:

  • Scripting Solutions: Tools like Puppeteer (JavaScript) or Selenium (Python) can simulate your manual upload process by automating browser interactions. However, these approaches are less reliable and might violate platform terms of service.

How to Proceed

1.               Contact Personal.ai Support: Reach out to their team to ask specifically about API access for Enterprise Members and any restrictions on automated uploads.

2.               Evaluate Alternatives: If automation isn't supported natively, consider a hybrid solution, like using API-integrated platforms that can mirror Personal.ai's features.

An AI enabled Smart TV ? Here is my Wish-List

An AI enabled Smart TV ?  Here is my Wish-List

Context :

Samsung Electronics Unveils Samsung Vision AI and New Innovations at First Look 2025, Delivering Personalized, AI-Powered Screens To Enrich Everyday Life

Extract :

“Samsung sees TVs not as one-directional devices for passive consumption but as interactive, intelligent partners that adapt to your needs,” said SW Yong, President and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With Samsung Vision AI, we’re reimagining what screens can do, connecting entertainment, personalization and lifestyle solutions into one seamless experience to simplify your life.”

With the ability to make your Samsung TV aware of its surroundingsadaptive to user preferences and autonomous in delivering intuitive features, Samsung Vision AI transforms screens into smart companions that enhance entertainment, simplify interactions and seamlessly integrate into connected lifestyles.

At the core of Samsung Vision AI are its personalized features, which redefine how users interact with their screens.

·         Click to Search offers instant information about what’s on screen — whether identifying an actor or exploring displayed content — all without disrupting the viewing experience.

·         Live Translate, powered by on-device AI translation model, eliminates language barriers with real-time subtitle translations, allowing viewers to enjoy global content seamlessly.

·         Generative Wallpaper transforms screens into dynamic, personalized art canvases, allowing users to make images that perfectly match their taste or occasion.

Dear SW Yong :

Congratulations on this innovations . I have no doubt , such path-breaking TVs will be welcomed by a huge number of TV viewers – including myself

I assume this is just a beginning and you must have planned further improvements

I have no doubt you must have conducted some sort of a “ Market Survey “ ( re : what customers want ) before writing down the specifications. Even then , allow me to list below what are my “ Needs – User Preferences – Personalization Features “ – which , I think millions of TV viewers would endorse ( some of these, may require you to come up with an innovative REMOTE CONTROL or for TV to accept SPOKEN commands – in multiple languages ) :

( A )  Subtitle Translation

Whereas this is a definite step forward , it is a “ half-way house “. Consider full “ Speech-to-Speech “ translation of the dialogue into multiple languages . Surely , this technology is already available.

( B )  Volume Controls

Most TV shows are terrible when it comes to catching the dialogues since the loud background music score drowns the dialogues. I want to control the volume of the background music ( or even turn it off altogether )

( C )   Advertisements

These are a “ Pain in the Neck “ . I want to be able to choose “ Advt OFF mode “ , eliminating all Advts.

Now , this may not work since the TV channels run on their ADVT revenue. In this case , on the remote provide a button which would allow me to switch-off the SOUND of advts , or vastly reduce it.

Please also consider possibility of my being able to RATE an advt ( on a scale of 1 to 10  / “ hate “ to “ love “ ). This would enable your AI to generate “ Personalized Play Lists “ and provide very valuable FEEDBACK to the advertisers

Another option >

No separate / stand-alone advts what-so-ever. All product or service advts to become “ Virtually Placed / Embedded “ into the video / show ( as just announced by American company  REMBRAND )

( D )   News

Currently , news-related photos / videos keep repeating dozens of times during the announcement of a news item by the Anchor / Reporter. This is very boring – to say the least . Please enable your AI powered TV to FREEZE that image / video , till the announcement gets over. Simply no repetition

( E )   Sleep Detection

If , while watching TV , I doze off , your TV should be able to detect it and shut off after 10 minutes

( F )   Favourite Channels

Currently , the remote enables me to create a list of my favourite TV channels. This manual method must be replaced by your AI TV , learning about my “ interests / tastes “ from my “ watch history “ , and , make up such a list on its own . This should be a dynamic process and not frozen on some past watch-history

( G )  Suggestions

Your AI TV should have “ ability “ to make intelligent “ guesses “ about my interests / likes / dislikes , and be in a position to suggest to me , foreign TV channels that it “ thinks “ I might like.

( H )  Health Monitoring

Now some screen-based devices are available for monitoring my health by just looking at the screen. I just heard about ( 1 ) FACEHEART CARDIO MIRROR ( 2 ) WITHINGS OMNI

I urge you to incorporate these health monitoring features into your TV. If any abnormality is detected, TV should send out messages to personal physician or a nearby hospital and video-call to family members

( I ) Video Conferencing

Since Smart AI powered TVs are internet connected , the set top box should work as a CPU / GPU

While conducting VC meets , TV should have built-in features like “ KRISP “ and “ SWAPCARD “ for automatic language translation and generating note / minutes of the meeting
