Nostradamus could have said ?

In
twenty hundred and twenty four
A
Sea of Waves will roar,
Light
will follow sound :
And
, in Smell and Taste
Earth
will abound ,
Brain
will hide no more
Your
secrets gore !
500
years later , on 07 July 2017 , I
re-envisioned above prophesy ( no doubt, cooked up by me ! ) in :
where
I talked of how technology is on its way to capture ( from every human being )
,
· “ SOUND WAVES “ ( Audio )
· “ LIGHT WAVES “ ( Video )
· “ TOUCH WAVES “ ( Feel the SKIN )
· “ SMELL – TASTE “ WAVES
· “ BRAIN WAVES “ ( EEG )
Even though this might have sounded a bit Nostradamus-like 17 months
ago , it seems just around the corner !
Read what Microsoft President
Brad Smith said 2 days back :
“For the first time, the world is on the
threshold of technology that would give a government the ability to follow anyone anywhere, and everyone everywhere.
It could know exactly where you are going, where you have been and where you were yesterday as well.
And this has profound potential
ramifications for even just the fundamental civil liberties on which democratic
societies rely.
Before we wake up and find that the year 2024 looks
like the book ‘1984,’
let’s figure out what kind of world we
want to create, and what are the safeguards and what are the limitations of
both companies and governments for the use of this technology.”
Question :
Can we assume that “ Privacy is dead “ ,
given that ,
OUTDOOR
*
governments around the World are installing millions of CCTV cameras at every
nook and
corner , to protect its citizens against terrorism
INDOOR
·
Each and every Internet of
Things [ IoT ] connected device ( ALEXA / Google Home do not even
remotely resemble a camera ) , would capture our videos 24*7 , and transmit it
to the servers of Device Manufacturers / Owners of Operating Systems / App
Developers / Service Providers ( ISPs / MSPs )
How much protection would our proposed
DATA PROTECTION LAW provide us ?
Those needing some proof
, may want to look up :
