Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

RE: NEW PAGE ON MAKEININDIA WEB SITE

Dear Shri Kant ,

Thank you for your positive response . It  certainly demonstrates your " Out of the Box " thinking

Allow me to clarify :

>     I am NOT suggesting ( even remotely ) , that we upload on MakeInIndia web site , the DATABASE OF COMPANIES ,  itself

That would , no doubt , make the site very heavy / difficult to load

I am only talking of a plain text HTML page of , may be 10 Kb !  And , if we leave out the TABULATION , showing the " No of Companies Industry-wise " , then the plain text write-up ,

       would , hardly be 3 / 4 Kb  !

You may recall that originally , my suggestion was to only place a hyperlink ( www.B2BmessageBlaster.com ) on the home page of MakeInIndia web site - much the same

way , I have placed , MakeInIndia link on B2B

But then I realized that , just providing a hyperlink on MakeInIndia web site without explaining " Why " and  " How " the Foreign Company Executive can search and send out

" We are interested to talk to you " messages , would leave the visitor wondering about the purpose of providing the link !

He will ask , " Why does this link belong on this site ? "

Therefore , the need for a 10 Kb explanation , which provides the rationale

In fact , page suggested by me ( attached ) , is MUCH lighter than most of the existing pages of MakeInIndia !

I request you to re-visit your decision in light of the above

>   I am happy that you would upload a page ( as suggested by me ) on www.DIPP.com

However , I tried to visit this URL , several times but landed on some weird page !  Am I goofing up somewhere ?

Coming to think of your suggestion , may be various State Governments should also upload this page on their respective  INDUSTRY  / INVESTMENT PROMOTION  web sites

Awaiting your response ,

with regards ,

Dear Hemen,
This is a mobile first initiative. The site has to be kept extremely light in content. We will be happy to do it on DIPP.com. Too much content will make it too heavy.
Regards,
Amitabh Kant
