Shuklendu / Nitin ( TOP PRIORITY
)
Pl see the email exchange below
Earlier , on Friday , I had sent following mail to MakeInIndia
web site :
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Sir
I could not send this from my iPad hence trying thru my PC.
This is a fine initiative to attract Foreign Companies to come
and invest in India
In my own small way I too am trying to do the same
I am enabling Foreign Companies to search and send their INTEREST MESSAGES to Indian Companies using my
recently launched web site
which carries a database of 2,27,000
Indian Companies listed as per 52
Industry Sectors and located in 2000
cities
With a SINGLE CLICK they can email their Message to hundreds of suitable Indian
Companies
My site could also be used by Indian Trade Commissioners posted
abroad
When they receive any inquiry from Companies in the country in
which they are posted , they can forward such inquiries to suitable Indian
Companies , to respond, using my web site
Inquiries could even be for export or import or outsourcing from
India
I urge you to VIEW
DEMO page on
If there are any questions feel free to phone me on 09867550808
with regards ,
hemen parekh
Mumbai
PS :
I would be happy to provide a link to your site on my home page
on a reciprocal basis , which will enable your foreign visitors to reach out to
Indian Companies , very quickly
For Make In India to succeed , we all must cooperate and collaborate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems MakeInIndia are willing to consider exchange of
links
Hopefully
, when I phone Mr Shailendra Singh at 10 am , I should come to know
But
, should they accept my proposal , it could be
a breakthrough !
By
now , you must have seen FULL PAGE advt in print media re MakeInIndia
Soon
, it will be on TV / Hoardings / Everywhere
Expect
:
*
Central Govt to spend a few HUNDREDS OF CRORES
of rupees in promoting MakeInIndia
*
Narendra Modi to mention MakeInIndia at most
forums ( He already mentioned it before a gathering of Indian / Foreign
Industrialists on 25th / in UN Assembly on 27th / in Madison Garden , last
evening ! ) He has become the Chief Marketing
Officer for MakeInIndia !
How
else can we explain , a Joint Secretary of
Central Govt to respond to my email to their web site , within 48 hours ?
I
have no doubt that MakeInIndia web site will
get visited by hundreds of Foreign Companies , EVERY DAY !
And
,
If
they notice our URL link ( right next to link " CONTACT US " , at the
top of every page ), we too , may see a lots of visits / registrations
That
brings me to one of the shortcomings of our web site ( amongst a few ) , which
is :
A
Message Sender ( Subscriber ) has no clue as to who
( which FUNCTIONAL executive ) will get his message
Eg
:
Message
could be for something that the sender wants to " SELL " and it lands
up in the mail box of the SALES MANAGER of the recipient company ! - who
has no interest in the offer.
Ideally
, the message should reach the mail box of the PURCHASE MANAGER
In
the absence of this knowledge , many SENDERS would hesitate in blasting
How
can we overcome this problem ?
There
is no easy - and yet foolproof - answer
But
here is what I suggest :
>
In the REGISTRATION form , just below the
Executive Name , add following field,
I am interested in :
* Buying
* Selling
* Outsourcing
* Alliance / Collaboration
* Business Development
After
capturing this data , when any SENDER , sees " Select Company "
tabulation ( on " Blast Message " page ) , there under the Company
Name , let us show as follows :
----------------------------------------
*
Select Company
( Interested In )
-------------------------------
(
) select All
(
) ABC Ltd
{ Buying }
(
) LMJ Pvt Ltd
{ Selling }
(
) XYZ ltd
{ Outsourcing }
etc
------------------------------------
This
display will give to the Message Sender , a clear indication as to WHOM the
message is likely to reach
So
, if the SENDER wants to SELL something , he will select only those companies ,
below whose names , BUYING is mentioned !
How do you feel about this ?
If you agree , how fast can we implement this ?

Mr
Shailendra Singh
Joint
Secretary and CVO
-------------------------------------
Dear
Mr Singh ,
Thank
you for your prompt response
I
will phone you tomorrow at 10 am
In
the meantime , I elaborate below , how we can complement
each other in advancing the cause which aims to transform India
During
inauguration of " Make In India
" conference , our Prime Minister , Shri Narendrabhai Modi talked
about 2 types of FDI , viz:
*
Foreign Direct Investment
*
First Develop India
He
wants MakeInIndia web
site to become
*
A One-Stop source of information to Foreign Companies about opportunities in
India
This
sentiment is echoed on MakeInIndia web site , where you write :
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Policies
> New Mindset
Most
importantly, the Make in India program represents an attitudinal shift in how
India relates to investors: not as a permit-issuing authority, but as a true
business partner.
·
Dedicated teams that will guide
and assist first-time investors, from time of arrival.
·
Focused targeting of companies across sectors
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
A
first-time Foreign Investor wants to know :
Which are
the Indian Companies operating in my business area ?
How can I
find them ?
How can I
tell them : I am interested in forming a Joint Venture ?
Example
:
An
American Hospitality / Tourism Company
wants to come to India
Where
will it find that :
*
There are over 5,302 Indian Companies in this Industry ,
operating in 173 cities of India
*
Nearly 73.5 % of these companies ( 3,893 ) are located in
following 10 cities ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
City.............................
No of Companies
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
*
Mumbai.................. 881
*
Delhi..................... 851
*
Bangalore.............. 478
*
Chennai................ 339
*
New Delhi................ 315
*
Gurgaon.................. 283
*
Pune....................... 265
*
Hyderabad............... 186
*
Ahmedabad.............. 154
*
Secunderabad........... 141
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*
The easiest / fastest / best way to send an " I am
interested
Message " to them is to blast it from ,
And in
just a matter of hours !
On MakeInIndia web site , you have listed 24 Industry
Sectors that might be of interest to Foreign Investors
*
2,27,000 + Indian Companies
*
listed according to 52 Industry Sectors ( includes those 24 )
*
located in 2,000 + cities
In my
earlier mail , I have suggested that
* we exchange our URL links on each other's web sites
( on each and every page )
That
would enable you to
>
Guide and assist first time first time investors from time of
arrival
>
Realize the full potential of MakeInIndia.com
