Consumer Database for new web site B2C

Field-wise  Analysis  of Database of  47  Lakh Candidates  sent to  Sentient  Systems


My comments below are keeping in mind that in  www.B2CmessageBlaster.com  ( web site planned to be developed by LTIT students ) , it is this database of 47 lakhs that we treat as “ CONSUMERS
We want the registered Subscribers of B2C ,(  potentially our 7 lakh Companies / Businesses in Resume Blast database) to be able to access database of these 47 lakh CONSUMERS and  create numerous MAILING LISTS ( demographic profiles ) , then mail-merge,
Ø  No of Messages with No of Mailing Lists
And blast their messages ( Marketing Campaigns )
Enabling the COMPANIES / SUBSCRIBERS to be able to create “ Sharply Defined “ demographic profiles , has to be our USP ( Unique Selling Proposition ) of B2C
This  process ( of creating Demographic Profiles ) in B2C , has to be very similar to a Recruiter conducting RESUME SEARCH in CustomizeResume , and then saving / storing the SEARCH RESULTS
When I looked up some Resumes at “ RESUME  ARCHIVE “ page , I noticed that , in the resume being displayed , some interesting fields ( from the view point of generating Demographic Profiles ) , are missing – although these are present in the original records sent to Sentient Systems ( Forwarded separately )
May be we had good reasons to omit these as far as the “ Needs “ of Recruiters were concerned ( in CustomizeResume.com ). This assumption needs to be re-examined
However , as far as the SUBSCRIBER COMPANIES of  B2C are concerned , they should be enabled to drill-down deeper , using these fields

Here are these FIELDS :

N  …………………………………………………………………  Current Salary ( very important but STATIC figures just don’t help the Marketers ! They must have latest Salary Data _ hence neglect )


The following columns / data are useful to RECRUITERS ( in CustomiseResume ) but do not help Marketers in B2C , for the purpose of creating Demographic Profiles .
What could be the reason we left these out from the resume display ?
Of course Industry and Functional Area need to be MAPPED with our MASTERS
May be we have done that !
