Yes, this is a great idea. We could add a dedicated section for gifting subscriptions. The process could work like this: the purchaser enters the email address of the person they want to gift the subscription to. We then generate a unique coupon code that can be used to redeem the free subscription.

The coupon code would be sent to both the purchaser and the recipient. The recipient’s email would clearly state that they’ve been gifted a subscription, include the name of the sender, and provide simple instructions on how to redeem it.

It would likely take me approximately 8-10 additional hours to implement this feature.
