I believe , for Country = India , we have approx 2,000 cities

That will mean , a huge list with a vertical scrawl

Or some " Numbering System "  like...[ Previous < 1  2   3   4  > Next  ] at the bottom of drop list of ( say ) , 20 city names

You are the best judge to decide

Even as you are thinking up of some plan , in this regard , please consider following COLUMNS for that CITY drop list :

How will this help  ?

Here is how :

For INDIA , we believe , there are 2,000 cities , and 2,50,000 companies

Now , the 20:80 Rule says that ,

20% of the cities will , ( approx ) cover 80% of the companies

That means , some 400 Cities should cover approx 200,000 companies

{  can be easily checked out , if you construct above-mentioned TABULATION from our database }

So , the " CUMULATIVE Percentage "  in the last column against... CITY SERIAL # 400 .. should read around..80%...!

This rule is supposed to be holding GOOD for all Binomial Distribution Curves

Now , imagine Central Government Ministries , such as :

>   Commerce Ministry ( Amitabh Kant ) wanting to send out Message to INDIAN COMPANIES re   " Make In India "

>  Finance Ministry ( Arun Jaitley ) wanting to send out a Circular re "  ADVANCE CORPORATE TAXATION  "  , to all INDIAN Companies

> Industry Minister wanting to alert Indian Companies re "  Relaxation in Land Acquisition Rules  "

>  Piyush Goyal ( Power Minister ) , wanting to announce "  Incentives for Setting up Solar Power Plants  "

The list is huge !

They will , all , like / appreciate , the type of Tabulation , described above

I would not be surprised if a lot of our Subscriber " Companies " too , like this tabulation

If a Subscriber keeps selecting ONE city at a time and blasting , how will he remember which Cities he has already selected AND blasted so far ?

He may end up blasting to same city TWICE !

We have to prevent this

*  I suppose , a Subscriber , can blast messages to only ONE city , at a time . What I mean - he would NOT be allowed to Multiple Select

   I am assuming that , after selecting any ONE city , he would have to click BLAST button , BEFORE he can select another city

   I presume , this will reduce load

*  Pl ensure that the drop list of CITIES , is always arranged in the DESCENDING order of the No of Companies in the city

* I have also requested that , as soon as Subscriber selects any ONE city , another page/box pops up and displays , just"  NUMBER of Companies" ( in that selected City ) , against each of the 52 Industry Names

Of course , in this pop up box , nothing is CLICKABLE

Only purpose of this pop up box , is to give to the Subscriber , a broad / general IDEA as to the Industries getting covered

There will be many among you , whose Clients ( other Businesses / Companies / Organizations etc ) , are located in your own city only

For whatever reasons , you do NOT offer your products / services , outside of the city where you are located

Most ( - although not ALL ) , Self - Employed ( hyperlink ) persons would come under this category

Here are some examples of Micro / Small ( SME ) companies whose Business Clients are also , mostly LOCAL :

*   Restaurants

*   Pathology Labs

*   Courier Services

*   Security Services

*   Delivery Services

*   Car Rental Services

*   Real Estate Agencies

*   Office Stationary Suppliers

*   Event Management Services

*   Maintenance Services of all kinds

*   Travel Agencies / Tour Operators

*   Recruitment / Manpower Supply Agencies.......etc

To promote their business ( market their products / services ), the only criteria that matter to them ,  are :

>   Potential Buyers ( of my product / services ) should be other BUSINESSES / COMPANIES

>   That Business / Company is located in my own city

For these SMEs , it does NOT matter at all , what is the business activity ( INDUSTRY ) of that potential customer  !

All that that you need to do is :

>   Select your pre-composed message

>   Select the " Country "

>   Select any  " City Name " from the " Select City " ( arranged as per descending no of companies in cities )

>   click " BLAST  MESSAGE "

Your Message will get delivered to ALL the companies  in the selected city - whatever may be their business activities

When you Blast Message from this page , you give up the option of being able to select SPECIFIC companies within a city

( For that option , go to " Blast Message - Corporate " page )

But then , if you are not bothered about specific companies , you save many hours when you blast from this page !
