·         Extracts audio of Shri Misra’s speech , using : Audio Converter

          { https://online-audio-converter.com/help/how_to_extract_sound_from_video }

·         Pastes this Audio file into : Lyrebird { https://lyrebird.ai/  } , to generate a “ Digital Voice “ of Shri Misra  (  FREE  ) which sounds exactly like Shri Misra  !

That Cyber criminal carefully reads FAQ  (  https://lyrebird.ai/faq/  ) , which tell him :

How can you clone a voice with so little data?

What are the applications of the technology?

I have a lot of audio recordings, can you create higher quality voices?

Do you have concerns about potential misuses of the technology?

Is there a way to distinguish between a genuine voice and an artificial voice?

·         Then he looks up :

·         Then he prepares following  judgement  ( fake , no doubt ) that he wants Shri Misra’s fake video to deliver in his realistic sounding “ digital voice “ , using indistinguishable facial features / gestures / mannerism / expressions etc that would “ fool “ the most tech-savvy :

“  For past few months, we have heard arguments from the learned advocates of , both the petitioners and of the government , in respect of the legitimacy of linking Aadhar ID to a large number of government schemes

We have been told that such universal linkages will take away a citizen’s fundamental “ Right to Privacy “ and lead to a “ Surveillance State “ having draconian powers over the citizens

At the same time, we have been keeping a close watch on the following developments :

#     With each passing day , millions of Indian Citizens are getting access to internet

#     These millions are daily downloading millions of Mobile Apps ( including Mobile wallets ) and providing personal data to millions of E Commerce web sites /  Search Engines  /  Social Media web sites / Messaging applications / Fintech services / Travel services etc, using GPS enabled Smart phones / Glasses / Wrist Bands / Smart Watches / Home Assistant Devices etc

       

#     The data provided by these Citizens for getting an Aadhar ID is miniscule in comparison with the personal / private data that the Citizens are already providing to these non-state agencies

#     Most citizens , while accessing such services are agreeing that the service provider can use their personal data in any way it deems fit and share it with anyone else , without telling / informing the user as to the actual usage or sharing

#    The number of Internet-connected devices ( and, without doubt , GPS enabled ) are growing exponentially and expected to reach 50 device per person by 2020

#    Each of these devices will be embedded with micro-sensors which will pick-up all the personal / private conversations of a user and transmit it to the Central servers of , not only the device manufacturers but also of the Internet Service providers involved . For doing this , the devices will carry an automatic “ Activation Clause / Terms “ which will grant to these devices, unfettered rights ( by the user ) to do so

#   Advances in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / AR / VR / Hepatic Devices / Holograms etc are progressing so rapidly that  , as per recent scientific predictions, by 2022 , Robots will become commonplace in most middle-income homes, able to reliably read lips and recognize face, mouth and hand gestures. All toys will be  “smart” with built-in machine learning

#   Scientists also seem to agree that content in all of its form ( textual - audio – video – sensory ) , generated by all human beings on the earth will get captured automatically / continuously and flow seamlessly , across billions of internet connected devices and will no more remain confined to a few servers . All of this will happen involuntarily and an individual will have neither any say on this nor will anyone be able to opt-out from this scenario. This flow of a person’s private data will start from birth   

IT IS HIGH TIME

…… is as much a failure of intelligence sharing as it’s a case of connivance, greed, faulty audit and laxity on the part of the banking regulator, RBI. 

Does the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB) or any other agency have a robust IT system to handle intelligence data gathered from across the country ? 

Not just that, according to the agency’s revised charter of 2003, the CEIB is the official think tank among the intelligence agencies on issues relating to economic offences.

But a reality check of the CEIB’s office in Delhi will tell you that it’s too small an organisation to be a national think tank in economic intelligence 

It does not have an IT system that automatically registers each and every eco-nomic crime committed in every nook and corner of the country. Nor does it receive the RBI’s inspection reports, which are considered critical to analyse bank frauds, like the one in PNB

The problem, however, is not a lack of apparatuses but in the sharing of specific intelligence inputs among a dozen agencies that at times work in silos. The challenge is to spot new trends in economic crimes and deploy effective deterrence. 

It may well be a bigger money laundering case which only the ED can decipher.

But what if that information is not passed on to ED because of the laxity of state police or, possibly, turf battle.

But once there’s a central computer system that automatically registers inputs, it will raise red flags.

Though intelligence sharing does take place, there are instances when key information gets stuck due to turf battles or perceived notions that the information is too sensitive to be passed on. Also, the government machinery is too slow to adapt to new technology and that’s where tech-savvy fraudsters easily beat the slow sarkari machinery. 

In his article, Shri Shantanu lists following agencies :

As suggested by you earlier , we ( Ganesh & Rakesh from LTI and myself ) had given a demo of ,

He was appreciative of this unique CSR initiative of L&T and made some , very useful suggestions to improve the usefulness of this site ( which have been since , implemented )

SNS asked us to meet PRK as far as the question of uploading of a few hundred L&T documents ( non-propriety / non-secret ) was concerned – which , we did and explained the concept to PRK , who promised to co-ordinate with various L&T units , in this matter and act as a central contact point

Once these documents get uploaded , my suggestion was to contact ASSOCHAM or FICCI or CII ( or all the three ) , and urge them to participate in this project , as per MOU attached

At the moment , this web site is temporarily hosted on a server in my office

I write to request you to convene a meeting of all concerned to take this initiative to next stage

બુઢાપો આવી રહ્યો છે ,

આંખની અટારી થી

આંખ માં અજવાળા ;

કમર થઇ કડક
ને
હાડકા થયા બરડ ,

એ ભૂલવા નો બપોરે
