Ø India has over 1.5 million schools , of which 1.2 million are in villages
Ø These village schools , are very poorly staffed ( one to three teachers ) with teachers of very poor capabilities ( - and lacking interest in teaching )
Ø These schools have local State languages , as their medium of instructions
Ø These schools have very poor infrastructure
Put together , some 250 million students ( studying in these rural schools ) , are left to fend for themselves ( self educate , using mobile apps )
